So I was reading the AP issue for January. And under 'Most Anticipated Releases of 2008' is AFI. I was excited at first but then it seems like they aren't expected anything lol.
Though it says expect in on Tiny Evil / Interscope.
"AFI have no idea when they will enter a studio or pick a producer for the follow-up to 2006's Decemberunderground. Hell, they haven't written any new songs yet. "We do not like to repeat what we've done in the past, if only to avoid boring ourselves,' says singer Davey Havok. "Certainly our past goes into creating who we are as writers. When we sit down and write, we tend to gravitate toward moments that feel fresh to us at the time. As we are inspired, we move forward. What that means as far as direction and sound, I cannot say. We never know until we are there.""

I hope a new album does come out this year. Adam and Davey (or was it Jade?) posted on the DF boards that they're starting writing the new record. I just wanna see them live this year again.
