Eggman is the only 'real' villan in a way. Shadow and Knuckles are more anti-hero and Rouge just does whatever benifits her. So I guess I'm going with eggman here.

i say super metal sonic because of the game sonic heros he looked bad a**
but i have to say my most favorite sonic villain is nack the weasel from the sonic the hedgehog comics
