Something I just did of one of my favorite people wink
Kind of forgot to color her upper lip, amoung a couple of other touchups.
Especially making the hair look better...
Comments/Critiques?
I think this might be something to add to my portfolio. That something I've got to start(and finish) working on PRONTO.
I've pretty much got to get it all done by like the 27th or so, and I have essentially nothing because I'm not sure if I like it enough or if its good enough for a portfolio.
Can anyone help me with my portfolio woessss? D:
besides the fact I havent sent out any applications yet, and they're mostly due like febuary 1st!
Sigh, I hate my procrastinating self! (Not to mention my low-self esteem self, who doesn't even know if her art is good enough to get into a decent school.)
I was looking at schools in the New York area, but most seems so out of my league.

Wow, well that's very good. I don't have much else to say about it. Maybe you could blend more...? =P
I'm sure you'll do fine with your portfolio, just don't stress about it and have fun and I'm sure you'll do your best.

Thanks! Yeah, I've gotten several suggestions to shade and blend it more, so I'll probably do that. surprised

oh, you're already applying for college? 0___o how old are you?
(I've always thought you were around my age for some reason... hmm.. =___=)
I think the facial expression is nice; I think, as people has said already, the shading could use more blending.. try to express with values, not lines.(The hairs too... It's rather confusing to explain.) :]
wow. new york. do you live there? I've never been to it.. It'd be so nice to go to an art college there. =000

Yeah, I've made a few changes as far as shading/blending goes, so maybe I should uploda that version now P:
And I dunno, I guess the hair kind of looks... flat? Something. It does look a little better on the original.
I live on Long Island, which is next to new york city.
