"Yes I am," Jane replied. Her expression remained neutral. With out any notice, the water cage faded as she worked up her power to demolish it. "Not many can overpower the Volturi you know," Jane continued. "We are the most powerful of our kind."

Alyss glared and kept the cage up. "Says you. You brag about your powers so much just to intimidate others. You don't seem all that powerful to me,"

"Intimidation!" Jane scoffed at the word. She was obviously offended. "You wouldn't stand a chance against us."

"No, in fact I haven't," Jane spat. "Tell me about this little worthless gang you've formed."
While Alyss was stalling the Volturi, Alice snatched Bella's wrist and started leading her towards the door inch by inch. Hopefully no one will notice Alice prayed. She couldn't let this chance to escape pass her.

Alyss kept Jane distracted. "Oh, it ain't just a simple gang," She put up her right hand, her guardian mark appearing. "We are chosen by a power greater than us,"

Jane was furious that Alyss didn't get her point. "WHAT PART OF MOST POWERFUL OF OUR KIND DON'T YOU GET????" At this outburst of anger, everyone froze in awe. They were all thinking the same thing- what if someone heard Jane scream? would they be suspicious?
Alice and Bella took their chance to escape by darting out the door when Jane threw her fit. "Gosh she can be so immature," Alice muttered under her breath. She quickly ushered Bella into her car. Hopefully the Volturi wouldn't notice in time to catch them. Quickly she explained her plan to Bella. "I'm going to drive to the forest where you will get on my back. I'll run you over the next destination." That was when Alice realized she had forgotten Jasper. They were supposed to accompany each other in Bella's escape weren't they? A wave of guilt rushed over her.

Alyss smirked. "Do you think someone with the stregth of the Volturi could give these powers? Ha! I think not," She noticed Jasper hadn't gone with Alice and Bella so she sent a message to him. Jasper! Leave now while Jane's distracted with Alice. Get going!
Bella nodded but looked back at the house, worrying about Edward.

"He'll be fine," Alice assured knowing Bella's longing to be with Edward.
Meanwhile, Jasper was able to sneak out of the house unnoticed.
"You're here!" Alice whispered excitedly. "Let's get going."
Within a minute, Jasper, Alice, and Bella were on their way. Alice was behind the wheel driving 150 miles per hour making a loud screech every time she had to stop. But all in all, they were able to escape... at least for now.
