I mean, unless you don't count the last three years, since he hadn't aged at all what with the crystals. But twenty years as a long time for Ariadn to build up a resistance to any form of persuasion. "And there aren't any men of my caliber around, doll." Little full of himself? Yes. But he HAD been wooing women since he was eleven. What do you expect?

Of course, all breeders and binders and yellow eyes and silver hair, and though it was unique ENOUGH (breeder/binder pairs were rare), Ariadn HAD had similar eyes, so they weren't quite as special as Mignon thought.
"I'm a Binder." Leave it up to Ariadn to not tell anyone about Illesi except at knifepoint, "In other words I unbind a person's job from them once they figure it out, and bind their abilities to them." Not that that really made it that much more clear.

Illesi grinned, "Well, without me you wouldn't have them, sure." The abilities were actually with her naturally, Illesi was just responsible for unlocking them and making it so she could use them. "Hope you like them, love."
