My name is Takanami, and I'm a twenty-three year old artist who's going back to school (again). whee I'd very much like a chance to join the JET program, but my Japanese is still pretty weak. I would be very happy to have the chance to improve and meet everyone here, too.

Hello!
Luckily, Japanese is not a requirement for the ALT position in the JET program, but good luck with Japanese anyway and with applying to JET when you finally do. I'm in the middle of the application process myself. I'm waiting to hear whether or not I'll be interviewed next month biggrin
