Spectral in heaven as climbs the frail veiled moon, Spectral in heaven as climbs the frail veiled moon, I am also Canadian, and my knowledge of the election stuff in the states is limited to what i see on the news and what I watch on The Daily Show and Stephen Colbert. For those of you simply stating you aren't ready for a black or female president, what do you mean by that? Saying that women are too emotional is just so stereotypical it's almost unfair.. and I would stand by that if Hillary hadn't burst into tears at the New Hampshire election thingy. stare I mean really... grow a few. Seriously though.. can any of you articulate decent reasons why neither should be president? I was under the impression that Hillary had some really progressive views on American health care.. with plans to make it similar to how we operate in Canada. I don't know.. I don't actively follow either campaign. I only know that stuff about Hillary based on other propaganda : Michael Moore. So climbs my dream. -William Rose Benet So climbs my dream. -William Rose Benet

Although I have not been keeping up with the campaign, I'd say Obama. Not because he's a black man, or that Hillary is a woman, or anything. I just don't think [from what I've heard] that Hillary would be up to the job.
I've had a good impression of Obama, but then again, I haven't kept up with the campaign like I should.

Here's my opinion on this whole shpiel. Honestly, I do not think a woman should be president. Women generally just aren't good at getting over things. So if we put one into power, and she gets all mad about something it's gonna be all about that one thing, and nothing else will get done. (Which makes me think that George W. might be of the female-type xp ) Anyways. Race matters not to me. The president could be green for all I care ( mrgreen for president! xp xp xp ) as long as he does a good job leading this country. That's the real issue. Not race, Not gender. Will Hillary or Obama do a better job? Or even Huckabee or. . . . . whoever else is running for the republicans >.< I couldn't tell you because I haven't been reading up on my politics like I should be. (Even though I can't vote, I still wish I was more informed ya know?)
