Jail House Rock was preformed in Rock Montreal.
Elvis sang You'll Never Walk Alone, which the band claim the audience once sang to them.

Any more connections would be welcomed.
I'm trying to draw some line between the two because I get the distinct feeling there's some things I'm missing.

Please discuss connections between the King of Rock 'n' Roll and Queen.

Elvis and Queen, eh? Hmmm...interesting idea.

Well, I'm afraid I can't help you on that one, since I only possess a very basic knowledge of The King, but nonetheless I wish you good luck in your quest.

(Also, I must congratulate you for putting a new thread up...the forums were starting to get pretty stale around here! xd )

Umm... Elvis had black hair, as did Freddie?
Elvis and Freddie both appreciated flashy, tight costumes?
Yeah. I know NOTHING about Elvis.

Didn't Freddie write Crazy Little Thing Called Love in Elvis style or for him or something. I know for a fact that that song has an Elvis conection. 3nodding

Erm...I don't think Elvis was really what you'd call "flamboyant"...

Oh, you must mean "flamboyant" in the original, classical sense of the word! Taking that into account, you indeed have a point there. (For a second I thought you meant "flamboyant" as in "a male with feminine qualities" xd , which, it must be admitted, describes Freddie fairly well but probably wouldn't work for the King...)

I'm just a teenager with Internet access and way, way too much time on my hands. Please don't mind my dirty-minded intervention.:p

Oh, and the Crazy Little Thing Called Love topic Arielphotort brought up is probably the most substantial facet of the Queen/Elvis connection anybody's mentioned so far. (To be honest, when I first read this post I didn't think there was much of a connection, but it seems I've been proven wrong...)

Har har 8D

Elvis once dragged a woman out of his hotel room by the hair once. Freddie also did the same. But in Elvis' case, it was because the woman was irritating, Freddie more rational; she was stealing jewelry from him.

Elvis is pretty shy (le gasp!), much like Freddie, but when on stage both are flamboyant and pretty out there XD

Both had contributed something significant to Rock n' Roll history. Elvis started the whole shindig, Queen sort of made it more progressive, different <3

Crazy Little Thing Called Love was simply sung in classic 1950's Rock n' Roll style, though I do understand the confusion.

That's pretty much it XD I don't think there are a lot of connection between the two.
