Why is it that we never see Protection specced warriors using Daggers?
Are daggers a worse weapon for a warrior to use?

The reason I ask, is we have a new Main Tank, who decided to switch to Prot after being DPS. He has the [Emerald Ripper], and has been using it when tanking.
Now, I guess it could make sense to be a decent weapon for a tank. OK stamina and AP. But, I'm not sure. You never see tanks using Daggers, is that only because DPS classes should have first dibs?
Or is there some hidden mechanic that gives daggers a lower threat. Or WHAT?! D:

Maybe he just sucks as a tank wink but I've been wondering if his using a dagger is a reason he can't seem to hold aggro. :3

The weapon is a decent weapon for him just switching over, stat wise, until a better sword were to drop. I don't see him on but for KZ raids.

In KZ, taunt doesn't really come into play all too much, as the fact you can't >.< (And isn't that annoying as a feral druid pulling with a farie fire, and someone shooting it right after. lol)

Still, I'm thinking the rest of his gear would overcome the lack of strength.
