I saw this in another guild and want to know what you guys think about it. i'd post it in the loved ones section but I want opinions from those who are in the military as well.

The funny thing about the 'Don't' list is that most of them don't care about stuff like that. XD When I'm down on base, I see a TON of the guys smoking and talking on cell phones while in uniform.
"Allow him to put his hands in his pockets unless he is placing or retrieving an item." -----> They'll be the first to tell you that unless there's an officer around, and it's cold, pockets or the pants are the first place their hands go to keep 'em warm.
I love how those things are like, "Wives, make sure they do this!!" when it's like "...didn't they learn all that at boot/basic?" XD

"Push the baby carriage or stroller so your spouse doesn’t have to. It’s considered “unmilitary” to do so while in uniform."
It's 'unmilitary' to look like a great/proud father while in uniform?

xion-dono What about meeeeeeeeeeeee??? What if we're BOOOOOOTH in uniformz?! And me?! In our case, no PDA...as long as the rovers and/or someone higher than us isn't around. The car is safer, if you're on base.

Okay, personally, I think that baby stroller thing is BS. I picked my son up at the post daycare every day. I carried him on my hip and the diaper bag on my shoulder (admittedly the bag was black and he was on my left). The area in front of the daycare was a "no head gear area" (means you don't have to salute). I served on a post with about 300 military and over 9000 civillians so military-ness was a little lax.

No sex in uniform!
-No sex on the base parking lot on duty days. -No sex in the car first thing in the morning. -No sex with the service uniform very late at night. -No sex while or after a rover watch on base. -No sex on PT gear after morning PT. -No sex with half way off coveralls while on a ship.
Just, don't have sex with uniform...unless you're in the barracks or at home. That's when sex with uniform is fun!!!!!

My unit chews gum all the time in uniform! Our Sergeants even come in and ask us for gum, after lunch! It's only 'unmilitary' if they're chewing their gum like a cow.

Lol, one of the kids at my school borrowed his dad's army fatigues for halloween. We are allowed to dress up for halloween. We just can't bring any masks or fake weapons. Some of the costumes are interesting.
