Yes, I can review both without playing both, cause despite the fact of different Pokemon sightings, different Ubers, and 1 or 2 different Pokemon all together, they're the same thing.

So Lets Start This.

Choose Your Weapon
For Starters, if you haven't played Pokemon yet, I recommend getting this with a copy of Pokemon Emerald first, for reasons later on realized. The beginning of the game is clinched a little, the standard, "OMG I R BEIN ATKED, I NEEDZ POKAMANZ!", choose a Starter(Anything but Pipulp), and whoop some level 5 wild Pokemon a**. Thus how your adventure starts. Nothing whoop-de-do, but hell, it's Pokemon, it wasn't a cinematic master piece.

The text-acting has seemed to gotten a lot better though, everything from 1337 speak, to smart talk, to trash talk, it's all here. Game Freak did their work trying to catch the inner nerd who plays Pokemon, and did it well.

Inconsistency, I Choose You!
Don't Like Random Encounters? Too Bad, I didn't either, and I still hate them long time, but, I managed to get over it once I started one hit killing things every now and then. I may also point out the the prices for things are outrageous. P200 for a some spray medicine? CMon....

Better on done is the graphics, everything looks s**t loads better, and the 3D/2D mixing is done just right, things don't stick out as much as one would think. It's done really well, and the in battle animations, while small little intros, are well done, and nice.

The Pokemon voices are still annoying, but the battle and background music makes up for it. God, Staraptor sounds like a dieing hyena......

Pimpin' All Over The World
Ok, Pokemon, finally. I choose Pipulp on a 15 min go around, then realized Pipulp is bullshit, and will never be cooler than Squritle or Mudkip, so I went Chimchar. Best Choice ever, Fighting+Fire=PWNT.

Besides that point, EV and IV are now HEAVILY needed to win. How I'd figure this? I just found out such things existed. I knew about values, but I never knew about specific training of individual stats, which is what everyone talks about now, and your a total noob if you don't EV train like s**t crazy.

The easy way around all this? The Global Trading Station. Just offer up some high level Pokemon, and your *guaranteed to get something worthwhile in return, best part is, it's random, so no friend codes!

On to the Friend Codes, it works well, it's like adding a Password to every GamerTag you enter, and it stays in your "Pal Pak", or you can delete them to make more space. Friend Codes are how you battle or trade with friends or random people you meet on the internet series of tubes. It works surprisingly well, like hooking up an old school Like Cable to trade with school friends on the bus. Now, it's near impossible to cheat.

Oh yeah, Action Replay, forgot. Thanks to NWF, and the GTS, AR is now in bloom. Why work, when you can hack the code and make 10 Eevee's with maxed out stats and offer them up for Shiny Dialga's?

BTW, It's happened.

*=Not really a guarantee.

DIDDO KNOWS HYPERBEAM?!!?! WHAT THE HELL?
Moral Issues. What the hell makes you think I want to battle with you when but one of my Pokemon are fainted, and god-forbid the lucky b*****d is a ******** Bidoof? Why can't I turn down trainer battles? Another thing, what the hell? Shiny's? Some of them look disgustingly awful, and some are just not worth spending hours upon hours or randomly tapping the Touch-Screen looking for a silver patch of grass. And Finally, the Poketch? What, run out of ideas, but still had some extra space, and decided to make this useless piece of s**t? I would have been better off having my bag assessable on the bottom screen instead having to go threw a stupid menu JUST TO GET TO MY P200 POTIONS!

And hacked Pokemon for the loss, some people cant take this s**t seriously. Then again, this is Pokemon. It can never be taken seriously.

___________________________________________________________

With minor gripes and pains here and there, and Team Galactic being very......*****, Pokemon manages to capture that feel of catching your very own pet of destruction and using it to whoop some A.I. a**. Not to mention the online, while full of hax at times, is well done and very useful.

All Aside, Bowl Cuts fail.
