1. Mr. Blackbird Lore and Alaundria are the GMs/Lords/Masters/Commanders/Gods of the RP. What they say goes. Seriously. They're not strict or difficult people to work, just don't push the matter.

2. Follow the Gaia ToS and the rules set down by the guild.

3. No godmodding.

4. No chatspeak. Let’s all stick with proper English, please. Try to avoid typos.

5. OOC statements should be made in the appropriate thread. If you feel them absolutely necessary, they should be ((OOC: format)).

6. No one-sentence posts. This one’s important. If we see them, they will be deleted. Repeatedly, and without mercy. We’ve done all the work to set this up as an advanced RP, so let’s act like we’re one, all right?

This is supposed to be advanced. We're expecting at least one paragraph per post. That's at least seven sentences. If you're having trouble stretching it, we can recommend three things: DOTS (Do, Observe, Think, Say), practice, or call it quits. I hate to recommend the last one, but if this truly is an issue for you, this isn't the place for you to be roleplaying.

7. Violence, swearing, and romance should all abide by the ToS/Guild rules. That's all there is to it.

8. Note that the word ‘human’ was used when describing the people of Alvirad. Before you dare start typing ‘vampire’ or ‘werewolf’ as your race, PM Mr. Blackbird Lore (Subject: “Hungry For Your Blood”) and provide proof that you can do it well (RP Sample) and that you can justify your existence in Alvirad in an intelligent and articulate manner (make sure to fit it within the setting). Even if you do all of this, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE THE FINAL DECISION.

9. All profiles must be PMed to Mr. Blackbird Lore with the following subject: Alvirad—[Character Name], [Character Class]. Any messages which lack this designation will be deleted without even being read.

10. If you have any questions/comments/criticisms about the previous nine rules, I encourage you to read rule #1 once more then ask/suggest either here or via PM.

11. More a note than a rule: All NPC posts (such as those pertaining to one of the four rulers, military movements, or political action) will be posted in this color.

12. At the VERY beginning of each post, and on its own line (THE FIRST LINE), you will post your location within your region-thread. It will be in bold, normal-size font. It will be very simple: The city, geographical region, ship, etc. that you are currently within. This way, others can tell which posts are more pertinent to their own character.

1. Where is ____ in relation to____ and ____? Where is ____?
-A map is currently in the works, however, due to recent events getting a scanner is becoming harder and harder. However, where a country is should hold no baring against your character. We now have a MAP!

2. Was (Is) there a house emblem for the ____ House?
-Unless you have a character in this House, this question has no need to be answered. You have to be patient as we continue to increase Alvirad. Slowly and steadily we are working our way. You must remember we are students and we do have lives.

3. Where is the "Academy of Sorcere" and the "Nightson Institute" located in Vidal?
-The Academy and Nightson Institute are both located within the innermost and highest ring of Baldur's Keep.

4. Is it ok if s/he is a low ranking member of House ____?
-If your character is approved, yes. However, we do not want every Jane and John thinking that they belong in one specific house.
