Figured I'd throw out another obscure band for y'all's enrichment. These guys are a pretty nice power/progressive band from Australia, currently signed to SPV (as far as I know). They're not extremely heavy and are very melodic--the progressive element is nicely implemented. A bonus is that the lyrics have a vocabulary aside from "sword, battle, blood, dragon," and "flames" and range from abstract to introspective in tone. Pretty easy listening to most fans of metal, I think. A very good fit for fans of Helloween, Gamma Ray, and the like.
