So, we got the results of our auditions today for band placement.
I'll be honest, I hadn't practiced and I didn't know my music very well.
Plus, I just completely bombed my audition.
So I guess I kind of deserved it....
I got third chair in second band out of five bands.
I know that's not so bad, but what I'm mainly upset about is that all my friends got first band and I'm never gonna live this down. Dx

So, tell your tales of audition horror. :]

Audition horror? I did my music exame once, which was singing. I obviously got EVERY note wrong, my rhythm and beat was terrible! I sucked when I forgot the words! But I managed to get away with 80%! This was because I sang a song that my teacher really respected, because it's about the hystory of a martyr who lived in Merthyr Tydfil... which is somewhere he really loves... I was lucky!

I was really nervous during my audition, so I missed alot of notes. Then, our BD lost the recording of all the flutes auditions, so we had to do them over again when we hadn't practiced it for a week because we thought we would never need to see it again.
I got second to last chair.
And last chair in honor's band.
But heck, I'M IN HONOR'S BAND! xp
