Alice in Wonderland was banned in someplaces for it's anthropomorphisms.
The Cheshire Cat, From Chesire England, was based off the smling Lion that was placed on a sign of a popular Pub(?) That's from the cliffscomplete version so you'd have to look around for that one.~>
