OHAYOCON 2008 was the absolute best anime convention I have ever been to in all the years I have gone to conventions. I was on staff this year, so I was behind the scenes and up front and personal with everyone. I got to cohost the Ohayocon Forums and Gaia Meet Up panels. I met so many Gaians. We thought that with the threads in Chatterbox and the Ohayocon guild we would really be lucky to have 20-25 people show up. Before our panel room was opened, there were 200 people waiting to get in a room that fire code only allowed 151... We had to not let some people in, until others left. The hour went too quickly. For next year, we requested a larger room and more time!
