Snew like whoaa roll step, but not like you're riding a bicycle. xD Yeah, there has to be a name for this, its a cross between the roll-step and straight leg, am I right? O.o

Well I'm with the Marching Chiefs, FSU.
We alternate between a Corp/Traditional - to standard (rolled)

Pretty much amost all the bands i've marched with use tradition/highstep 8 to 5.
The college band mixed it up depending on the drill but it was pretty much traditional style with toes pointed down.

In my band we march like most HBCU's : 90 degree high-step. When its done right, it looks awsome but done wrong and it blows.

The bands i've marching in are pretty much traditional step with toes pointed down. Standard 8 to 5 but in college we mixed it up alot but for the most part it's a chair step.

we do 8 to 5 as well.
we have roll step forward and straight leg backwards.

O.o I think that's the lock-knee roll-step. That's what we use, and that's keeping our legs straight unless we're taking oversized steps. In that case, we have to bend close to the ground. Um, we have six high steps in our show this year. I think that's it.
