Hello,

We would like to invite you to come and grow with us. We have had it on our hearts for some time now to evangelize, the How has been a question for some time. Until recently we didn't know where to start. Then God put it in our hearts to get the good news out in several ways. Starting a small 2 sided paper, and a website. We are working on the website now Praying about which host to use and preparing the first issue paper which will be also on our website.

Our Goals you ask?

1. Get the Word of God out there more, Spread His love, care, and most important The salvation of Jesus!!

2. Get the Ten Commandments out there more, sad but true we have found that many people local and else where haven't even heard them once. sad

3. Help you and us grow our roots deeper in his path for us, and build our personal relationships, fellowship, and faith in God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit.

Well that is all for now, I can't give away too much just yet..

Please Pray that we follow Gods will, and God Bless you all!!

NOTE: All reference’s to the, “WORD” = The Bible, King James Version.

START FROM THE BEGINNING:

To introduce myself and to show through God’s Word why I know and how I learned that it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to do evil, or to allow and even permit, (yes I said permit), this to us or our loved ones. My family and I have personally walked, “thru the valley of the shadow of death” more than once, and I remember each time like a video I could sit and watch – God was there - every time turning what the enemy, (the devil, Satan) meant for destruction, death, etc. into supernatural victory that human hands were not capable of correcting. You must understand one thing before you here these truths of our family’s experiences. First, I have been taught thru God, His Word—Jesus and the Holy Spirit that we are also creatures of being one person with three distinct parts.

1. Our spirit man: this is where, hopefully, you have asked Jesus into your heart and to take over your life as your Savior and Lord. Having told God that you are truly sorry (that is the repenting part), for the wrong things and choices you have done and that you are asking forgiveness for. This is where the forevermore on this earth. Your spirit man is also, “who you are”, in all the wonderful uniqueness that God created you to be. As the Word says, “I formed you in your mothers’ womb”. The next part of is:

1. Our souls: This part of us is our minds, our wills; (which we CONSIOUSLY AND HAVE A CHOICE to control, God’s way or our own selfish ways) and our emotions. The mind is our thoughts of course, but let me break this down more so it can be easily made clear. Have you ever wondered where all your, “thoughts” came from? I did, so I prayed, read the Word and learned – here is what I learned…..we have mainly four types of thoughts from different sources: a) Emotional thoughts: these are the ones that pop into our brain from what we in our souls are feeling; examples would be happy, fearful, angry, sad etc. b) Willful thoughts are these that we choose to think, thoughts that we are using as we accomplish a task or contemplate a task, and also thoughts when we are dreaming, or what we are seeing with our eyes etc. c) Thoughts from satan, I know, I know – this is a hard one to consider, but it is very true. He can and does throw some into our brains. If you just stop and think for a minute you will remember the times thing just popped into your head and you were like, “where did that come from”. In my experience it is a phrase of taking God’s name in vain or swear words I do not use, or worse, a very fearful, (imaginative) thought. After you consciously become aware of these, you can then truly recognize them and turn around and say those are not my thoughts, so I do not receive them. The good and bad news of this, the good is that satan, his little demons, what-ever…are not all-knowing as our Loving Father God is so he cannot know your thoughts when you are standing against him so the bad part is unless you speak them out loud to tell him to get lost, so to speak he is unaware that you are on to him and stopping his interfering thoughts. d) And best of all, thoughts from God through His Holy Spirit that come into our minds. A few rare times, in very stressful times, they have come to me strongly and clearly but usually they come quietly, and always compassionately and with great wisdom and encouragement and hope. They are usually coming from our spirit man where the Holy Spirit lives.

1. The third part of our being is of course, our physical body. Which; Praise to God, will be made perfect when we are raised to heaven.

This is a Happy Thanksgiving Day that we should be full of things we are very thankful for. I apologize that this is so much like a teaching and sooooooooo loooooooong, LOL! I did not know where to begin, what to write for the first one so I have been praying for an answer for over a week, and then this morning when I woke, the answer was there, “AT THE BEGINNING”. I knew what that meant for me and I have laid the ground work with the things God has taught and show me as we went through the very hard times that I mentioned before. The main thing is, it is very hard for me to go back and talk of these things because the emotional part of my soul and the physical part, my body and what my physical eyes were seeing were in deep pain, fear, and stress through these times. BUT my “WILL PART” from my soul and my physical mouth with total help from the Holy Spirit in my spirit man chose to speak, pray, and act out on the wonderful promises of Gods covenant for us. That is why I had to explain all of this. Physically at times I could not stand up, my insides felt like they were cramping, or my legs would not hold me up or I was physically shaking like a leaf, hart to breath and talk, crying, etc. BUT – I always chose to talk God’s Words and Promises, (you should have seen some of the faces of nurses and others around us, it was hilarious as I look back now). So….anyway….where was I…? LOL! Oh yes, “the beginning”, at the beginning of this message I wrote that God does not do, or allow, or permit evil, pain, suffering and even sometimes agony. I will leave you with some of the versus from His Word that will show this. I will leave you with these to read, and also - PLEASE – to dwell on, say them out-loud and to GET THEM into yourself to become a part of you.

HAPPY, HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS.

MARK 16: 17 + 18

And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

JOB 34: 10-12

Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity. For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

Yea, surely God will not do wickedly; neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

PSALM 62: 5-8

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.

PSALMS 103: 1-5

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities;

Who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;

So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

And the last one for today, but far from the least of these:

JOHN 10: 9-11

I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Families Yesterday and Today! Are We That Odd?

Years ago it was very common for families to be close; however, today it is very rare and looked at as odd. Before families would pray together, go to church together, eat meals together, go out together, and live in the same general area when the children grew up and went out into the world.

Today though, it is very rare to see families go out together, eat meals together, let alone pray or go to church together unless it is a Holiday or a major event in their life, such as a wedding or a funeral. This change saddens me more then I can express in words. I can only guess the reasons as to why this has changed: the job market, the increased living expenses, increased school requirements for homework and projects, increase in single parent homes (increased divorce rate)? These are some of the reasons why I think people are home with their families less.

I don't blame just the parents it is the children too. Today they want to go out all the time, watch TV, and play video games. What happened to family picnics, family game nights, family movie nights? Why are they so uncommon? What are your excuses?

I was home schooled for most of my school life so I was with my family all the time. And the home school community always had events and projects going on for the whole family. I know public schools hold events for the families as well but are they enough to keep a family close? I feel very blessed to have spent a lot of time with my family during my growing up years because of home school and past health issues. My family and I are still very close because of it. A lot of families can not say they are as close to their relatives as my family and I are. I get sad at what a lot of people are missing out on.

I made a pledge to stay close, literally and figuratively, to my family no matter where life takes us all. Believe it or not I have been told by multiple people that they think this pledge is very odd and they just don't understand why I would make a promise like that. I can give many reasons, but the main one is because I want to. I love my family very much and they are good people. I am glad to have them with me. Don’t get me wrong we have our difficult moments.

I have to say we have even lost touch in the time we get to spend together and sadly we don't pray together much anymore, which we are trying to change as a whole.

The reason I am writing this is because I want you to sit down and think about your family or those in your life who you consider family and ask yourself these questions. Do you wish you were closer? Can you do anything to try and change that? Will you take the necessary steps to get closer to your family? You could be missing out on something great if you do not.

The Bible talks about how important families are all the time. Example:

·Genesis 12:3: (King James Bible)

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

· Psalm 68:6: (King James Bible)

God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

· 1 Timothy 5:8 (King James Bible)

If anyone fails to provide for his relatives, and especially for those of his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. [who performs his obligation in these matters].

How about Acts ch: 7. The story of Joseph and his family, sure they had a lot of trouble, back stabbing each other over a coat, regret, anger, but in the end when they were reunited they still loved each other.

Or, how about Genesis ch: 5. Noah's Family God told him to take 2 of every animal one of each gender, His wife, his three sons' and their wives on the ark. Why? So they can Make and extend their families, to prosper the earth and continue to live.

Without A family we would not be here, we would cease to exist with out parents or children. We are in a family for a reason, to support each other in many ways not just financially but emotionally, physically, mentally, and SPIRITUALLY. Families should work, grow, lean, and love together. And to when the time comes, create new lives in the family if possible to keep the family going. That is a topic for another time.

Call a family meeting, set up one day a week for just you and them to do something, this will be easier if you're a parent and you have children still living at home. If your family is spread out across the country make it once a month or once every 6 months? Or try a conference call or a chat room meeting for all of you. If you already do this encourage your friends and neighbors to do so also. In a loving matter of course, One gets more with sugar than spice. It doesn't really matter what you do as much as that you do something. I recommend PRAYING TOGETHER at the least Even television shows realize how important this is, look at Gilmore girls and even Charmed. Maybe if we all did this there would be less broken homes, more caring people, and a happier and lower crime filled world??

Family is very important, and Thanksgiving is a great time to remember this and to give thanks for your family. There is a saying I love and I think is very true. "A Family that Prays together Stays together." Mine is great proof of that…. So are we really that Odd? Or would you say we are blessed??

If you don't have people in your life that you consider family, you have us here in this blog, and other Christian believers. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ and one huge Family. So call on us. Find a good church where you can fellowship with other family members there. You will be welcomed I can assure you!

3 John 1:5 (The Message Bible)

Dear friend, when you extend hospitality to Christian brothers and sisters, even when they are strangers, you make the faith visible. They've made a full report back to the church here, a message about your love. It's good work you're doing, helping these travelers on their way, hospitality worthy of God himself! They set out under the banner of the Name, and get no help from unbelievers. So they deserve any support we can give them. In providing meals and a bed, we become their companions in spreading the Truth.

Thanks for reading this, it has been on my heart for some time and I am sorry I have not said something sooner.

·Ephesians 6:13 (The Message Bible)

Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

~~God Bless you!!!

Merry Christmas!!! And Happy New Year!!!
January 2, 2007
User Image

I have a lot to write you today, not sure where to start so here I go, sorry it took me so long...

This is my favored time of year for many reasons Such as: The weather and the fact that I love the holiday season. Thanksgiving through New Year’s… All because of: the giving, sharing, thankfulness, anticipation of new, beginnings, joy, and so much more in the air. I love the lights, the trees, the food, and most of all the family you generally get to spend time with. Family to me is close friends and relatives..

Sadly though, this time of year brings stress, anger, and loneliness to a lot of people. We all worry about if we have enough time to do what we want to do, do we have enough money, will our friends and families enjoy our efforts. And then there are those of us who do not have the pleasure of having people in our lives to share this time with and it brings out anger, resentment, and deepens the loneliness and pain. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New year is a good reminder of what we as Christians need to do and represent! Which are Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and most of all Father God, the Creator of all! We would not have those holidays if not for Jesus.

Jesus was born to a woman named Mary in Bethlehem, and a man named Joseph. (The Book of Mathew –John in the Bible) If you have read the Old Testament you see how good God is and how sinful humans are… We were given a gift. This man was born only to die for us, so that we may be forgiven, get Gods full blessings, the Holy Spirit, and go to heaven. Did we ask this of him? No… God gave us the ultimate gift, eternal life! Not only that but he showed us a living example of what we are meant to do. I can’t put it more simple then this. We are to Love one another as he loved us!

It is so easy to accept the gift of eternal life, and all that comes with it, all we have to do is accept Jesus into our lives. This can be done in a very simple prayer. “Jesus please come into my life, my heart, and show me your love and path for me.”

Now what does all this have to do with you, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years have to do with Jesus? Well first Jesus was born on Christmas day ~ Christ- mas.. And Christ gave his life for us – The best gift of all. If you read, or recall Jesus was the first to receive gifts, Gold, Frankincense, and Mir from the three wise men. But the main tradition of gift giving was sait to have started thanks to Saint Nicolas out of kindness and care made toys for those in need.. (Without God we wouldn’t know what Love and kindness really is, and he grasped it). His works of kindness were inspired by his faith in God, and thus the tradition of gift giving continued.

Thanksgiving thought it is celebrated in finding America and the Indians, they would not have set off on the trip had they not wanted to find a place where they could worship God and pray freely. Here is a good article to read about it. Our country is and was founded on the belief God is the Creator and our Father. Most our Presidents have realized this too.

The National Thanksgiving Proclamations

National Thanksgiving Proclamations proclaim thanks for God’s providence in the events of the nation and, as President Washington explained in his Thanksgiving Proclamation, "for the many signal favors of Almighty God" in the lives of the people.

As Congress recognized the importance of Thanksgiving observance, President George Washington issued a national Thanksgiving Proclamation in 1789[5]. He wrote, "Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be—That we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks—for His kind care and protection of the People of this Country...for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of His Providence which we experienced in the tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed...and also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions—to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually...To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us—and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best."

In 1789 Washington designated a national thanksgiving holiday for the newly ratified Constitution, specifically so that the people may thank God for "affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness" and for having "been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted, for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed... "

The first official Thanksgiving Proclamation made in America was issued by Henry Laurens as President of the Continental Congress of the United States on December 18, 1777. However, the precursor to the Thanksgiving Proclamation was issued by John Hancock as President of the Continental Congress of the United Colonies and was entitled "Fast Day Proclamation" on March 16, 1776. Six national Proclamations of Thanksgiving were issued in the first thirty years after the founding of the United States of America as an independent federation of States. President George Washington issued two, President John Adams issued two, President Thomas Jefferson made none and President James Madison issued two. After 1815 there were no more Thanksgiving Proclamations.

If it weren’t for Sarah Josepha Hale, the editor of Godey’s Lady’s Book, the popular women’s journal of the 19th century, Thanksgiving Day would not have existed beyond that.

She wrote editorials and lobbied “that the LAST THURSDAY IN NOVEMBER shall be the DAY OF NATIONAL THANKSGIVING for the American people.”

President Lincoln succumbed to her pressure and proclaimed the last Thursday in November a "prayerful day of Thanksgiving."

Since then every U.S. President has always made an official Thanksgiving Proclamation on behalf of the nation.

"I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens. And I recommend to them that while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him for such singular deliverances and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to His tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquillity and Union." The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume VI, "Proclamation of Thanksgiving" (October 3, 1863), p. 497.

From Lincoln's time, fixing the date for Thanksgiving was by Presidential proclamation. In the first year of the Franklin D. Roosevelt presidency, 1933, during the Great Depression, the last Thursday of November fell very close to the end of the month. At that time, there were calls from many business owners for the President to move Thanksgiving one week earlier, in order to allow for a greater number of shopping days between Thanksgiving and Christmas, which they argued, might possibly offset the difficult economic times. Roosevelt did not change the date at the time. However, when the last Thursday in November again fell very late in the month in 1939, he did institute a change, by proclaiming Thanksgiving to be the 4th Thursday in November. The decision sparked wide-spread public discussion, with some Americans following the old "last Thursday in November" scheduling pattern. However, Congress agreed with the President, and by Congressional action in 1941, Thanksgiving is now always celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

And Last but not least New Year’s is dated by the calendar systems based on dates solar and faith based BC and AC, what does that mean? BC is Before Christ and AC you guessed it is after Christ. So much of our history and future have Christian faith the cause of it, good and sadly many bad. We are human after all and we make mistakes. That is why we need Him, Jesus in our lives. With the New Year we see the chance to change things in our lives and become better. We make resolutions. (A lot we don’t keep.) However we try and we feel fresh and alive and excited. With Jesus we become a new creation and we get a fresh start too. With him we are always forgiven and never alone. It is like a new year, but a new life a blessed one, with a companion at our side. Every New Year, and Holiday season I am reminded of his awesome power, is intense over flowing Love, and his ever giving Grace and Mercy… Thank you God for being in my Life!

“All things are possible though Christ Jesus!” ~Philippians 4:13

(Even our new year’s Resolutions XD)

It is our job to take the past, His story, and our faith and to be living examples of God’s love, his grace, his mercy, and kindness. We need to stand up for our faith and yet not force it on others. Let God use you, and direct you. I like how the actor playing god in Even Almighty says it “How does one change the world? With one random act of kindness at a time!” (ARK) That sounds easy enough right? Think about it, look around you, and see what you can do. It doesn’t have to be big, and you shouldn’t brag about it. It may be something really small like a compliment or giving water and food to a neglected animal. What you do could change their life in a huge way, you may never know…

My a pastor once told us in church a story that has never left my mind, of how the littlest things can have huge effects.... (Forgive me if I am saying it wrong, this is how I remember it.)

There was a man questioning his meaning in life, wondering if he would live or take his on life and at the end of the night he told God. I will end it all unless you exist. “If you do when I turn this corner there will be a man walking on his hands down the street.” Now it was very early in the Morning and another man was walking down the street from the other direction and God said to him “Walk on your hands around this corner.” “But God I am going the other way and it is early he complained, and I am tiered” “God again instructed him to do so.” Thought the guy thought it was crazy he figured no one would see him so why not. AND HE DID. Just then a guy drove by and saw him; the guy on his hands was extremely embarrassed and stood up once more. The driver suddenly stopped and rushed over to the other man and told him his story about what he had told God and how he was surprised to see him. The young pastor then thanked God and the two men became friends and brothers in Christ.

Now this is a rare story, but it shows us how God works in mysterious ways and though we may doubt him we should follow His lead. Just make sure it is him and not your mind directing you, if it is you will know by the peace you have inside. Think of all those in need, more so then you, what small thing can you do to make a difference in their lives?

The devil comes to steal form you, to Kill you, and to Destroy you, but I come to bring you life and to bring it Abundantly.
John 10:10

That’s all for now,

God Bless you, Merry Christmas, Happy New year, and Thank you for reading.
