Well, I'm contemplating buying a Nintendo DS lite. I'm a sucker for nintendo games lol. Does anyone here own one & if so what do you think of it? It's going to be a while before I can afford it but I was curious. I have about $50.00 in target gift cards (got to love the holidays) so I'm going to need another 70 or so before I can afford it. Any reccomendations?

I've got one. They're nice. I don't really use mine but mainly 'cause I don't have time. It's got a nice slot for old GBA games and the stylus system is really cool.

I've got one too, the dual screens are a nice twist in handheld gaming. The Brain Age games are really fun and make you think, the new Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is pretty interesting, and the New Super Mario Bros. is a great remake of the classic. One word of advice though, don't do any of the speaking tests on the DS if you're in public, you look really foolish.

Kevin brought his over on friday & we had fun playing the super mario bros game which is why I contemplated getting one. I love zelda too. (I have the games for gameboy color. Old school style yo). What does the speaking test do?

The DS has a microphone built into it, So it will tell you to say the opposite of up and you have to yell in the mic. "DOWN!" or in Wario ware: touched! it will tell you to blow up a balloon, so you blow in the mic. to blow it up

I have one. Mine is black. I would recommend that you get the special edition DS. There are 3 colors I think, Black, White and pink. The special edition is red and black.
