So, in April, I will be going to the coolest concert ever, most likely.
PAGANFEST!
It's going to be a bunch of folk metal bands playing for only twenty dollars. x3
Only thing that pisses me off is that King Diamond cancelled the night before.
Anyways, at Paganfest it's going to be:
Ensiferum
TYR
Turisaz
Just to name the more popular ones. I'm hoping the rumour will be true and Elvenking will tour on Paganfest in the US!

They had like a "Paganfest All-Star's Edition" for Waccen a couple years ago. It was like Finntroll, Korpiklaani, Tyr, Ensiferum, Trollfest, and some other fairly well known bands. It was almost a complete Folk Fest but then random a** Cannibal Corpse turns up as a headliner.
I bet that was a fun experience, trying to be Brutal and stuff after a bunch of bands just got done playing songs about drinking, smoking, sex, random wolf, drinking, more drinking, and one last chat with the mysterious white wolf. That or whole sagas of the Wilderness with a video involving nothing but animal bone instruments, beer, and barbarian clothes.
But hey do you know of any Folk events close to Atlanta, GA? I live in Savannah which is about 3:30 hours from ATL, but I drive anywhere within 6-7 hours of Savannah for a big show. But for smaller shows I just stick with Atlanta and Jacksonville and places.
