Okay, so there are times when it's a good day, and I eat normally. That may even last a few days. But then the time comes when I'm starving myself, but I don't realize it until I'm hurting so bad I cry. Then there are times almost immediately after that I eat too much, to the point I'm sick.

I'm 17, 5'4" and I weigh 185lbs. But everyone says I don't look it because I worked out a lot because of my martial arts training. Some doctors, not all, say I'm clinically depressed and these eating habits are due to a mood disorder. Is it really? I'm not too sure. Maybe it's everything going on around me, I'm still not sure. So much has happened, so many bad things, but yet I feel fine. I'm not going insane, at least I don't believe so. I'm not suicidal, though I used to be.

I'm just not sure what's going on. I'm so confused and stressed out that my headaches have gotten much worse every day and I'm getting sick again...

Okay hun

one sit down and relax, think about your life and what might be stressful or out of balance in it. are you taking time for yourself? are you rushing everywhere? simply forgetting to eat and so forth. life situations can impact your hunger. Take me for instance i ate quite well not excessively but enough to not feel hungry or sick but today it is now 3:30pm and i have had nothing i am not hungry i just have had a cup of tea and 3 glasses of water and still i dont feel hungry. It just depends i am going to wait until my partner comes home at 8pm to eat if i am hungry by then. Your body tells you when your getting hungry somedays i will eat and somedays i wont. sometimes i feel sick and that is a sign my body is telling me i must eat. i also get low and dizzy spells hence the tea and then again i realise i must eat something. since being pregnant my food intake is so low i have about 800 calories a day if that where as the usual is 1500 to 2000 so you can see the different in a big way. Today ive had just 25cals lol cause of the tea so if does vary.

But by the sound of it your getting your body not use to food i had this discussion with a friend of mine [yes even i give advice out of the guild] he had gotten use to eating so little that when he went to eat something he could not handle it he wanted to be sick. his body refused the food cause it was not use to it that is always a bad sign. ill tell you exactly what i told him your body needs a certain intake of food per day to function sweets and savories can give your body the nutrients and sugar it needs to function properlly. Concentration becomes lacked due to the fact your not eating hence they say "eat breakfast" this is because you cannot concentrate without it. By you getting your body use to not eating and then feeling sick eventually you will BE being sick and that is a bad road to go down! because it can do damage to your body and your confidence i have told him to see the doctor and i am telling you the same. even if it is nothing it is better to be checked in the long run.

do you have any confidence issues? my friend doesnt eat much because he has confidence issues and thinks he needs to lose weight. i commented he has no a** lol. he was shocked but it was true he is really thin and has no a** anymore that is unfit and not fit. so i am hoping he listens to me the same way i hope you do.

as for stress get a nice warm soak in the bath, 3 drops of lavender oil in it, two candles at the end and relax in there. focus on nothing but relaxing. then when you go to your room light the candles again. add 3 drops of lavender on your pillow and just lie there doing whatever or just going to sleep. im a shaman and lavender is seen to relax and focus the mind removing stress also it gives a very good night sleep. i use it sometimes and i always give it my mother as she has a illness and gets stressed and in pain a lot and it relieves it for her.

but your making your body reject food hun that is not a good thing because before too long you wont be able to eat without being sick. your not in danger but your borderline and it is easy to go both ways in this situation. if your clinically depressed focus on your life what is making you depressed and how can you get around it. Could there be things you can change? do you feel good about yourself? etc

but please seek some aid and if they say your depressed and leave it at that ask how can you change that and also that you want to be healthy and be able to eat healthily without feeling sick and that your worried you could be developing a eating disorder the fact your asking shows your maturity and realisation that something is wrong.
