as you can see Mikey's the only one in th band wearing a badge with his 'welcome to the black parade' era costume. that is related to the fact Mikey dies in the "ghost of you" music video. the badge is a for the courage he showed at war! its like a purple heart badge or a badge of honor or a badge of courage, i dont know all the names for the awards military people win. ~~ EDIT Tv Suicide says its called a Metal of Honor. a Metal of Honor is suppose to be a necklace-thingy-mo-bobber. the metal it self is gold and it is hung around the neck by a blue ribbon. but MCR tweeked it a bit, it look a little better on screen (although i think it would have looked good either way, dont you?) thanks Tv suicide! thats interesting.i just thought that was cool, what do yall think?

Man!! I knew he was the only one with a metal but I never really conected the two things!! I feel stupid........
Gerard was the one who designed the costumes on a note of fact. He sent his designs to a theatrical clothes creator.... I doubt thats her title but I like it.... the same woman who made the "Edward Sissors Hands" outfit and many pieces of clothing in "Memoirs of a Gasha" and she has won an Academy award in the past for those outfits!
She also helped design the "Mother War" costume along with the two biton twirilists named "Fear" and "Regret"
I found that out at 1:30 in the morning...... damn dialup...

My grandfather was in the airforce and he made me learn about all the different metal there are to earn. that one mikey is wearing looks a hellaofa lot like the Metal of Honor.
For metals, thats the highest one you can get no matter what. Its gold with a blue tie for around the neck, not a pin though. Thats because when they hang it, it's usualy not around your neck but your coffin... Most recipiets are dead before they ever got looked at. Its because you showed bravery and saved fellow men. You have to have two people that witnessed your bravery, so if you really did something and no one saw it... tough luck cookies.
Its a huge screening prosses to get it though, so if it was a while ago when you or your friends applied.... you're still probably going to be dead when you get it. I think only 5 people alive are wearing the metal. Thats probably why they chose that one.... the reciepients seem to die easily. They're reckless.... brave, but reckless....

Remarkably happy for an old dude. Though, I think that there isn't many in the air force who got that metal. My gramps worked hard and junk and was pretty remarkable flyer, but the best he got was 3rd metal up (from the top). Illastrating how freakin hard it is! Hum...... you think They'll give a equivilant of a purple heart to Bob and Gerard on the Famous Last Words shoot? Gerard snapped a tendant, er, something, and Bob got a three degree burn!! I mean. Mikey was shot, but Bob was in agony!
