we were about to practice a song in the band room right? so, we began to play...as soon as i hit the snare drum it doesn't sound like a snare...and u know why?
because some idiot turned off the strainers stressed
so i had to find the switch on the snare and flip it back up, but that stupid switch is so hard to pull up, so half way through the piece i was trying to pull up the switch and by the time i did, id lost my place sweatdrop >.>....so the BD had to stop and restart because the only percussion there was was the bells and the bass.... redface gonk crying mrgreen redface

This isn't a very "musical" accident, but it does have to do with music. I was wearing a pair of really slick flip flops on the first day of jazz band. Our band director asked one of my friends and me, since we already had our instruments out, to go introduce ourselves to the jazz director and help him set up. I was so happy we finally had a jazz band again that I was running to the room on the tile floors. The turn came for the doors. Trumpet in hand I slide past the doors and fall down. Of course I cry out, "Whoaaaa." For the rest of the day my friend pretended to slip and cried out, "Whoaaa," at the top of his lungs and called my slippy.

after a performance by a near by shool our bd was getting off the podium wen the whole thing FlIPPED UP and slamed down on the floor. it was real emmbarrassing bcuz she's kinda big... rofl blaugh

rotfl i know i already posted...but i thought of one that my mom had in high school...
she was in orchestra and she was a viola player. her stand partner, while the teacher wasn't looking, decided to take a nap during class. She was wearing a hoodie so she tightened the hood around her face, bent over and went to sleep.
well here comes the conductor: "Bows up!" he says. ...a viola bow is missing..."Bows up!"...heh....
so he stares at my mom and she kind of smiles and is kinda giving me that...heh...look and he goes to the band room and returns with crash cymbals... (i think you can see what's happening next...) so my mom moves over and he gets close to her stand partner's ear...
then BOOM! there goes the crash cymbals.
that woke her up...LOL

The Wosrt thing that Happened to our band was for one concert one of our tuba players fell off the bleachers with his tuba and bent the bell.
