This is a Star Wars role play based during the Old Republic after the Mandalorian Wars and after Darth Revan, Malak and Traya threatened the galaxy. Feel free to join anytime. I would like literate players.

Isolated family estates dedicated mostly to agriculture arose, but the population density of Dantooine remained extremely low. The Aratach Corporation established an outpost there over four thousand years ago, and erected a small spaceport to handle imports for local merchants. Also at this time, Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Bass established a training center among the tranquil and mysterious ruins found on Dantooine. For generations, this praxeum trained many notable Jedi Padawans, including future Sith Lord, Exar Kun. Summary: On Dantoonie are two points of interest strong in the Force. The first is the crystal cave filled with vicious kinrath and the crystal’s used in lightsabers. The second is the Jedi enclave ruins. Many of the enclave’s students fell to the dark side and tormented the galaxy. Now many Jedi are in hiding, if any still live at all, while Sith hide in the shadows. Scavengers, mercenaries and animals are the only problem on the planet. Life in Dantoonie is to the most part peaceful at the moment.
You may play any character you feel like, except each others. Design new characters or make characters already mentioned your own. Examples: her brother, dad, or someone from her dream. (Don’t worry, keep reading, you will meet them. I promise. ) Basically, you can take control of any side character if they interest you. Just keep their character the same and evolve it.

Name: Alisha Kouto (nicknamed Ali )
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Species: human
Appearance: Alisha has medium length black hair, usually kept in a pony tail. Her clothes are brown, loose fitting farm clothes. She is 5’ 7’’ and around 140 lbs.
Personality: A dynamic, happy-go-lucky girl. Other then her mother’s death her life has been sheltered. She is an idealist, who works to make friends with those around her. She is charming and adventurous. Her major weakness is her naivety.
Background: Her family lives on a smaller farm on the planet Dantoonie. Her family is made up of her father and older brother Laurent. Her mother went missing 7 years ago. It is thought that she was killed by a wild Kath hound, but she may have ran away with a mercenary. Alisha’s father soon became moody and reclusive after this. Laurent took charge of the family and is now 22.

Alisha sat on a rock under a lone tree to the south of her family’s estate. The wind whistled over the grasslands as the sun was setting over the river that separated her land from her neighbor’s. Her nearest neighbor’s household was far: six and half kilometers away. She was used to the feeling of seclusion, but that didn’t mean she didn’t get bored. She might have walked or borrowed the family’s landspeeder to visit a friend except that it was too dangerous. Swarms of Kath hounds and kinrath and sometimes even a fearsome graul made it suicide to go far from her home by herself.
She started to walk home as she smelled food cooking. It wasn’t long before she had gone up to bed and fell asleep exhausted from a day of hard work.
Her dreams began. She saw a burly man in a dark cloak sitting on the rock next to the river. He stared upward at the estate. He silently got up and walked up the hill towards it. Another man, a zabrak, was at the top.
“You came. Good. Where is Leahen?” said the first man as he walked up.
“I am not sure, master. I have not seen her since we first split up,” the other replied, bowing his head.
“Do not try to please me. We both know you do not think of me as your master. She did not contact you?”
“No, I wonder if she made it out of Korriban-”
The man interrupted the zabrak with a wave of his hand. A woman then walked from the front of the house. She stared at the two men and took out a green lightsaber.
“Leave the people here alone,” she ordered.
“Leahen, so it is true, you have become a Jedi again?” the zabrak spat.
“I have found the error of my ways”
“And you are going to try to stop us? You are ridiculous. What of finding the ancient relics in the enclave? Don’t you still want to find the holocrons?”
“I can do that with out hurting the people who live here.”
“Very well” the two men said in unison as they took out there lightsabers.
Alisha woke up. The buzz of the weapons still lingered in her ear as she turned on the light next to her bed. The dream had seemed so real, so detailed. She got out of her bed, no one was outside. No one would come to her house; she was to far away from anything. She sat back down on her bed. Her dad was snoring in the next room over, and yet she still heard the soft lingering of the buzz and the words, “relics in the enclave” echoed in her head. Could that be the ruins of the Jedi academy?
She knew she was being irrational, but she decided to go outside. She crept down the stairs, and out the front door. The sound increased, and she was surprised that the sun was edging forward. She knew she better hurry before her dad woke her up to start her chores. She began to run towards the spot, her heart racing as the cold air chilled her skin.
At the edge of the cut grass was a lightsaber still turned on, resting on the bracket. She looked around suddenly afraid. She had never seen a lightsaber in real life. Never heard its soft hum as it glowed or felt its cold metal light in her hand. She looked around, wondering how this was connected with her dream, picked it up, turned it off and ran into the house.
(OCC: I lead this a little, becasue i had this idea, but i really dont care where it goes from here. Just play and have fun!!!)

Appearance: short, about 5 feet tall. average build, short dark brown hair, olive skin
Personality: quiet compared to others, but still social. isn't scared easily. loyal, daring. the "black sheep" of the family. always adventurous (sp?)
Background: growing up in a sheltered home, she became the black sheep of the family. she was an only child whose parents were traders who went missing during the Mandalorian Wars. She's been raised by a distant relative on Dantooine ever since.
