Back in May or June, I was watching that Marie Antoinette movie that came out fairly recently (like a year and a half ago I think) and in the movie the show Marie pouring a cup of tea.
Inside of the teacup is a ball of tea that blossoms into a flower. I thought it was really neat but figured it was something that existed only in her era or if it did today, almost impossible to find.
Well, about a month later, my best friend and I were at Teavana, which is a store that specializes in really nice teas be them basic or fancy, and they sold these flowering teas. I was really surprised about this!
For Christmas, the same friend bought me some of the flowering tea as well as a glass teapot, which was a really awesome gift. It's so neat to watch it bloom!
Anyway, here's a youtube video that shows this beautiful blossoming tea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbRpdYRz1Y0
