 Strength through Adversity.
So what are some (or all) the things you guys want to accomplish for this year? Silly or serious or even doable 3nodding
Mine:
1. Save my money for a trip home by summer. 2. Pay off my loan. 3. Learn how to make an upside down pineapple cake 3nodding 4. Read the Art of War, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Lolita before summer.
My list is a work in progress Feel free to put a heart next to every resolution you've met before the year is out. Let's see who can finish them all
 The strongest steel is forged by the Fires of Hell. It is Pounded and Struck repeatedly before it is Plunged back into the Molten Fire. The Fire gives it Power and Flexibility, and the Blows give it Strength. Those two things make the metal Pliable and able to withstand every Battle it's called upon to Fight.

My resolutions. Hmm... Right now there's only two. One, I want to learn Japanese. Like, the speaking and writing hiragana and katakana. Kanji can come later. >>; Two, make my own manga. I've got Manga Studio for my computer, and I'm looking forward to using it. If I can't use the computer, then I can always ask my animation/art teacher to allow me usage of the supplies in my school's FAB building (Fine Arts Building).
I doubt I'll finish the first by the end of '08. But, I may be able to make a small manga.

 Strength through Adversity.
I have a book of Katakana that I never use, I don't want to throw it out. Throwing out books hurts my frail heart crying Would send it to you but I dunno if you wanna give out your address and whatnot

I don't care about giving out my address. It's my mother we all have to worry about. Her resolution should be not to scream and yell at her children... It's usually for no apparent reason ;.;
I hate throwing out books! It makes me feel evil. And, katakana is pretty.
*thinks* But, my Aunt Vickie got me a book showing me how to structure sentences in Japanese and then another on how to speak Japanese. Aunt Vickie knows exactly where I want to go in life. ^^

1. Not to make any resolutions. (Fail) 2. Find some roleplaying buddies. (I really am that pathetic) 3. Finish one of the stories I've started to write. 4. Be able to shimmy with my shoulders while shimmying with my hips. (bellydancing stuff) 5. Limit my coffee intake to roughly once a week.
They're odd resolutions for a fairly odd person. I enjoy it. The first one was a joke that I told to one of my friends on New Years Eve and the rest really are my resolutions. I have a feeling that learning Japanese is a much nobler pursuit.

1.) Become a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do 2.) Finish the first book of the story I'm working on 3.) Graduate with good grades 4.) Learn Spanish
The first one is probably impossible, since Black Belt tests are only twice a year, and I still have a couple more belts to earn. It might happen, though. The second one is probably not going to happen, either. I'm only on the third chapter, and I'm a horrible procrastinator, but I'll make an effort. =3 The third one won't be hard. I already have all As and Bs. I just want to keep it that way. As for the fourth resolution, I'm going to take a class at a local community college this semester. It won't make me fluent in Spanish, but hopefully I'll know enough that it'll look good on a resume.

I've been taking Spanish for sometime and yet here I am still not knowing it so you're much better than I am lol.
There are a bunch of people here who might possibly sate you role-play appetite Fang 3nodding When People Show You Who They Are, Believe Them The First Time

.:>Release your gaze starward, imagining a world that lies beyond the sky<:. {Might as well put my own down ^^
1. Picture the world differently (a constant progress) 2. Be happy on a normal basis (yet to accomplish, but in progress (I try >.<)) 3. Start up the amazing roleplay I've discussed with a few people and maintain it (in progress)}

Kinda late, oh well.
1. Not to fail any classes this year or starting my next. Yes, I aim low, but math and science are eeeevil!
2. Improve my Spanish to being semi-fluent.
3. Learn to like the Spanish language (xD odd, but I need this one!)
4. Learn to be less ashamed when it comes to showing my work (my art, my writing...)
5. Keep all of my friends close, don't let them drift away no matter what! (I love them too much to let this happen, but it is a fear of mine...)
