| Journal Entry 009 | Thursday, January 10, 2008 Yeah...I didn’t write anything yesterday.
Yesterday, Aurora decided to move, but she’s still here today (and still preparing to move). That was about all that happened yesterday... There was no special guest.
Today, I didn’t do much either.
Drake is better. I wish I’d known that before I’d gone and bought more medicine for him.
I met an odd camel today named Saharah. I ran some errands for her, because she lost her map. She was so pleased, she let me choose from a rare wallpaper and flooring. I choose the flooring called Saharah’s Desert. It’s pretty nice.
Several hybrids grew today! I got another pink cosmos, another pink tulip, a new orange pansy, and a new orange rose! How lucky!
Drake wants a Folk Shirt, but I don’t have one of those. I don’t have it catalogued either! Too bad for him.
Yesterday, Sable seemed preoccupied. I asked Mabel what she thought, and Mabel asked me if people can get colds at the exact same time of the year every year. I don’t think so... She thought Sable might be sick, but I think it was something else. Today, they both seemed fine. Hmm...

| Journal Entry 010 | Stardate: 0801.17 I'm a horrible person. I've neglected my town and neighbors.
Not really. About being terrible. But I did kind of have to neglect my neighbors. You see, I've had to make daily visits to an insipid land called SCHOOL daily, and it kind of takes a toll on me. I don't have much time to frolic with my friends. That's amusing. The idea of me frolicking.
Anyway, some things to note:
BLACK ROSE. YES. More Pink Cosmoses. I think I have seven now. Anyone want to buy one? 10,000 bells each. mad Seriously. I need money. My only income now is fossils I've already donated to Blathers and the occasional gyroid.
I still have failed to make my town perfect. I am very disappointed. My plan was to quickly make my town perfect, and once I was rewarded for keeping my town perfect, I was going to completely renovate the entire town. I was going to have fruit orchards. It was going to be so beautiful. But now I'm not sure if I'll do it at all.
The entire town is filled with flowers. Every day, I try to devote what little time I have to keeping my flowers alive. I've brought my black cosmos and orange cosmos in, because they didn't appear to be making any hybrids, and it was a hassle to water them when they withered.
The sky is starting to change. I can see part of the Spiral Sea Shell constellation at night, charted by none other than me.
Bunnie dared to try to leave my town. But I did not threaten to kill her, like I did someone else... I don't remember who it was. It might have been Robin, back when I used to like her. Anyway, I begged Bunnie to stay, and lavished her with gifts. She stayed.
Incidentally, Robin got tired of me ignoring her and moved out! Huzzah.
A wolf named Chief moved in after Aurora left. I don't think he likes me, even though I try to talk to him once every day and send him gifts.
I'm still don't have pictures from Drift and Chief. As of this morning, there are only seven villagers, excluding myself, so I'm waiting to see who'll move in. Ooh, I hope Stitches moves in!
I do so desperately wish for Spring. The winter has become old, very quickly. I wish there were more to do.
I've been watering the same Red Turnip for almost two weeks now. It might be longer...I'm not sure. Anyway, Wendell refuses to visit again. I'm afraid that one day, I'll miss watering the turnip and it'll die. I'm starting to think that maybe he only visits once a month...
I talked to Pascal the beaver today, and he gave me a Ship Deck floor.
Sable's weird. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong, but she won't talk to me. neutral I do know, however, that it's got something to do with a certain raccoon-dog, if you catch my meaning.

| Journal Entry 011 | 18 janvier 2008 Redd came today, but he had nothing worth buying. For the second week in a row. What a loser.
Pompom upset Bunnie, so I beat her in the head with my net.
Mathilda the kangaroo moved into town today. She's certainly looks...interesting.

| Jounral Entry 012 | January 20, 2008 My town is perfect! Assuming I can keep it perfect, once I am rewarded, I'm going to cut down every tree in town. And then I'm going to begin the Bhujerba Beautification Project. I'm going to plant fruit orchards all over town. I suppose that explanation is a little bland... I mean I'm going to have sections of land dedicated to a particular type of fruit. But I still need to have non-fruit trees. I'm thinking I'll have each orchard type separated by a group of non-fruit trees. I really like the way the pine trees look, but they're pretty useless, so I'll have to cut back on them. I will have some, of course...just not so many.
In my quest to make my town perfect, I began placing patterns on the ground in areas where trees would not grow.
It's ironic that my town is perfect, because I really hate my town. I hate the layout, I hate how it looks, and I just really generally detest it. Maybe I'll hate it a little less after spring gets here? Like I said, I'm so freaking tired of winter.
I saw a picture of another town, and it was really neat. The river split into two different directions, forming an "island" that was surrounded by the river and ocean.
Some of the towns I've visited are really neat looking. Why does my town have to be so bland and uninteresting?! mad
I visited another town yesterday to do some shopping. When I came back, Chief was trying to leave. I don't like WiFi, because it makes my neighbors want to leave.
Incidentally, I'm not using WiFi again until I get the Golden Watering Can or my town stops being perfect, whichever comes first.
I've talked to Chief every day, and I've sent him presents every day. But he was saying everybody was mean to him. Maybe if he wasn't such a jerk, people would be nice to him?
Anyway, he was still here this morning, but he's still packed up. I asked him to stay again. I suppose I'm being selfish though, because I only really want his picture.
I was a little disappointed. My town is perfect, but I didn't find a Jacob's Ladder. sad

| Journal Entry 013 | Monday, January 21, 2008 My town is still perfect. I got a Jacob's Ladder today. I replaced it for the four-leaf clover that had been in my hair.
Chief left against my wishes, and a little female dog named Daisy moved in. Daisy looks almost identical to Bones, who was sick yesterday. I forgot to get Bones medicine today. Yesterday was the first time I'd actually spoken to Bones in quite some time.
Drift gave me his picture. So, now I am warming up to Mathilda. It is so interesting. She has a child in her pouch, and the child appears to adopt her mannerisms, but she appears almost oblivious to it. I know not its name or gender, but it does make one curious.

| Journal Entry 014 | Aujourd'hui, c'est mardi, 22 janvier 2008 I was devastated to learn that my town is no longer perfect, but I believe I understand why.
It either has to do with Chief leaving and Daisy moving in, or more likely, I put a bunch of "superfluous" flowers in front of Daisy's house because she was starting a garden. I removed some stray flowers from secluded areas, and I think that's what happened. Later this afternoon, I'm planning on planting some flowers in obscure areas.
I hope my town becomes perfect again...
You know, I made a point of collecting all my neighbors pictures, but I've done a really shoddy job of it. Three neighbors have come and gone without giving me their pictures... emo On the other hand, my storage space is not infinite. If I try to collect the pictures of every person that ever moves into town, I'll run out of space. Hmm... Conundrum.

| Journal Entry 015 | January 26, 2008 I got Daisy's picture! Now, all I need is Mathilda's. Pompom moved out the other day, and nobody has moved in to replace her for several days now...
I was so sick of my town. My "controlled floral chaos" became uncontrollable, and today, I rearranged EVERYTHING. 90% of my flowers were moved or rearranged. Now, all flowers that are touching are designed to form hybrids that I do not have or only have one of. As such, I had a plethora of unnecessary white and yellow flowers of various breeds. I planted them all over town (not touching, of course). I decided I'd check by the Town Hall. Low and behold, my town is perfect again. The problem is, I planted a tree today. So, I'll need to make sure it's still perfect tomorrow.
I watched K.K. Slider perform Lucky K.K. today. It made me think of pirates, for some reason.
I've been waiting for weeks now, and still no sign of Wendell.
The other day, I met Gracie again, and I got my fashionista badge!
Also, I ran into Dr. Shrunk, and I have now learned to express dismay.

| Journal Entry 016 | Sunday, February 10, 2008 Oh Glorious, Rhapsodic Day!
I have finally attained greatness! The Golden Watering Can was delivered to me this morning by Pelly.
I was almost tempted to begin the Bhujerba Beautification Project, but I thought that everyone would be very disappointed if I suddenly uprooted the entire town.
I may be wrong, but I believe that you can replace trees with flowers. I cut down two trees today that were in front of Drake's house, and planted six or seven flowers in that area, and my town was still perfect.
So, I'm thinking I'll take this very slowly. There is still a good chance my town will cease to be perfect in the process, but... well... I don't know...
Plus, I really don't have a lot of time for a complete town renovation project at the moment. I might have to wait until summer, even though I detest that idea.
I managed to keep everyone from moving for 16 days. I didn't want to chance my town becoming unperfect by letting someone leave.
Today was the last day of the Bright Nights, which is the dumbest holiday in existence, with the exception of Yay Day. This entire week was devoid of special visitors because of this lame holiday. I voted for Lobo, because I thought it would make him like me. He won, but when I went to tell him he won, HE WAS FREAKING PACKING TO MOVE.
THAT UNGRATEFUL SO-AND-SO! HOW DARE HE! He and Mathilda still refuse to give me their pictures, and they both hardly EVER come out of their houses anyway, and now THIS injustice! I demanded that he stay.
I promptly sent him and Mathilda letters demanding that they give me their pictures by Royal Edict of the Marquis de Bhujerba!
Despite Lobo's arrogant transgressions, today was positively lovely.
I now have ten pink tulips, nine pink cosmos, four orange cosmos, two black cosmos, and two black roses. I do have some other single hybrids, but they are in storage until I grow more to cross-pollinate them. I don't actually remember what they are.
However, I am trying very, very hard to grow purples roses, blue pansies, and purple tulips at the moment. Unfortunately, I have had no success whatsoever.
I have grown weary of Bunnie. It is not that I dislike her, but rather that she is no longer of interest to me.
I realized that the chances of her actually wandering the internet for almost a year was unlikely, because in all the towns I've visited, they time traveled. So, that would probably have distorted Bunnie's sense of time. I was extremely disappointed when I came to this conclusion.

| Journal Entry 017 | Friday, February 22, 2008 Drift has moved, and Frobert moved in.
Frobert is awesome. I really like him.
I'm actually really tired of Bunnie, but I still don't want to get rid of her.
Lobo seems really excited about the Fishing Tourney coming up. I've already won the Fishing Tourney once.
Lobo said,
You always seem to win stuff. Personally, I think you're a cheater, but... This weekend, I'm gonna show you how it's really done! I managed to get Mathilda's picture. Now I'm still trying for Lobo's picture, and I really want Frobert's picture, because I like him so much.
I want to start cutting down trees and making patterns, but I can't find any good examples. I've looked on YouTube, and none of the videos of towns I can find have really nice orchards.
I don't want to do it by trial and error, but I guess I don't have a choice.
