It's an 80's Gibson. The headstock says "Sonex -180 Standard". Anyway...80's Gibsons..you get the idea. It's not a great guitar smile

Yeah, I know what you mean.
Also, did those Ibanezes come stock with Floyds or did you put those in yourself?

They're stock. I'm thankful that the Petrucci's don't come with Floyds. I much prefer the tremelo on the Petrucci...it allows me to experiment with different tunings, and also, I just like the sound of it alot more. It definitely allows me to get the tremolo to sound just like Petrucci's technique. smile

confused I didn't know Ibanezes could come stock with Floyds. I thought they only had the Edge/ZR tremolos.
Meh. I like Floyds myself, makes a guitar just feel better to me. But yeah, tuning's an issue. xp
The next guitar I'm getting will have a Floyd.

Very very nice. you should be joining us forumites over at the ernie ball forums. There's some really good stuff on Petrucci there (he actually answered people's questions for a thread that's awesome to read through) as well as any general purpose guitar nut stuff. Lots of GAS there (if you know what i'm talking about).
BTW.... I checked out your site, killer stuff man. I'm pretty jealous of your tone and playing style.

I'm about to just Get a Bridge-Thru Washburn 7 string because of a lack of funds and NEED for the band to write with them.
We're also going to be soon buying 8 string ibanezes for some songs in the style of The binary code. WHAT YOU SAY!! \( ' A ' )/
