Well they all just look like family photo snapshots. The only one that doesn't is the last one, but that might be just in comparison to the rest of them.

That is my general impression. WHY do they look like that though? What sets the last one apart from them? They are all just centered pics of a baby on the couch. The last one stands apart because it isn't just a straightforward shot. The figure is at an angle.

Okay, that makes more sense to me. I'm new to photographing children, to be perfectly honest. I'm in this stage where I have no clue how to position them or where to place them to take nice photos. This obviously isn't high art photography, but rather portraiture. I tend to do a lot of portrait shots of people that look very nice, but with kids I just can't seem to get it.

i think you need 2 think more about setting and lighting and wot da baby is wearing, it doesnt look like ne thot went into these, just snapshots. also i think the composition is lacking in all but the last
