Dunno if this is allowed, so I'll apologise.
As a British Death Note fan, I'm pretty jealous that you manage to see the anime licensed and such, whether it is on TV or the DVDs.
We only have the manga released over here, and even then, I'm not exactly sure if all of the manga has been released (I own volumes 1- cool .
So, I'm a bit of a Death Note n00b, I suppose, and need your help. Do any of you know when, or if, Death Note will be released in Europe, preferably in the UK? Because I'd buy the Amercan DVDs, but my DVD player is a different regian, so of course, it'll never work. If you do, I'd really appreciate it.
So, if you recieve any information on Death Note being licensed in Europe, please let me know, preferably in this thread. Thank you very much!
EDIT: Today, I found this on animeuknews.com:
Quote:

Earlier this morning we received confirmation from Manga Entertainment that they intend to release the 37-episode Death Note anime TV series in the UK. Contrary to the listings on online shops, there's still no confirmed release date. The short official statement reads as follows:
"After much speculation about Death Note, I can now confirm with you that Manga Entertainment will indeed be releasing the series in the UK. We can't currently confirm dates just yet and we are aware that there is a listing on Play and Amazon."
I'm a happy little Osaka now. mrgreen
I might use this thread for release dates and such... just in case there are other UK Death Note fans in this guild.
I'm here to kill your monstah.
