I got some really nice responses the last tme I posted a topic here about this d00d. SO.
Right, as you recall:
-His name is Nick.
-He's cute.
-He works at the library.
-He asked me out to coffee.
What I worried about:
-I thought he might be dumb.
-Or dull.
-Or pretentious.
-Or humourless.
-Or too highly opinionated.
-Or too old.
-Or too young.
-Or that we wouldn't have anything in common.
BUT:
He was none of those things.
In fact:
-He's easy to talk to.
-He's funny.
-He's sweet.
-He listens.
-He remembers what I say.
-He's REALLY smart.
-He wants to be a pilot, but his back-up carrier is to be an Electronics Engineer.
-He's 22. [I'm 19, so it's all gewd]
-He likes similar books, movies and music to me.
-He has similar religious views to me.
-He doesn't think Trainspotting was funny.
-He's geeky, and it's adorkable.
-He's always prepared. ;D
-He called me last night at midnight to wish me a happy new Yer.
......... there's a lot I really liked about him.
He's just like, way cool.
But I'm soooo afraid that I'm going to ******** this up.
In fact I don't even wana call the boy because I'm afraid to annoy or bother or offend him!
::rolls around frantically::

If it's meant to be, you can't ******** it up. wink Honey, I bet this guy is just as worried about screwing this up as you are. That's normal... natural... and expected when it comes to a new relationship! If you didn't feel that way, I'd seriously wonder what you knew that you weren't letting the rest of us in on. Since you do, even though I don't think you need them, I'll let you in on a few tips.
1. If he called you at midnight last night to say Happy New Year, then he likes you. A lot. And he's interested. A lot. No boy who is not interested in a girl remembers to take the time to call her on New Years Eve at the stroke of midnight.
2. If he really likes you, which we have established he does, then you're not going to annoy or bother or offend him. Every relationship has its rocky points, but how will you get to know him if you're so worried about scaring him away that you don't talk to him? Not calling him is even worse, because then he'll think you're not interested.
3. You are a perfectly nice, sweet, wonderful girl who any boy would be lucky to have. There is absolutely no reason that this boy wouldn't be thrilled and extremely fortunate to have you. Don't doubt yourself so much, honey. You're a smart, successful, and confidant girl and you deserve to have happiness just like everyone else!
4. You were yourself when you went out with him, correct? So there's got to be somethin that's attracting him to you! Keep being yourself and he'll keep being interested. Just like you like him for all the reasons you listed, I bet he's got a list of why he likes you.

Yaaaaaay Gummibear! C: That's awesome! He, as Chibi says, definitely likes you. c; So don't worry about it! And as Chibi said, just be yourself. That's why he likes you and not somebody else, yes? c:
AHHH!! Guys. Guy I last posted about, I've talked to my friend who was at the party alot, and she says she very much noticed how nice he was to me. :0
Sooo...we talked. I think I like him. c: And she'll be with him at the state debate tournie sometime... (I don't know when it is...>.>) And she said she's maybe going to mention me to him and be all, "Yeah, you sure were being nice to her at that party, yep." Unless of course
To see if he says anything. It's mean, and it's cruel, but she's easy to talk to. c: But she'll leave out the part where I've been talking to her for the past week or so. >.> But I dunno...
He has a nice voice. c: <33333 Did I mention that part? His voice is really nice. c: And I might have a class with him this semester. And we had the same lunch, but we never sat together/talked. Sooo...I dunno.

You cannot ******** up relationships if they are meant to be.
And it makes him feel bad if he thinks you are not interested.
^_^ So, I wouldn't be paranoid if I were you.
As long as you aren't calling him every half an hour 'just to say hi', then I assume you will be fineee.

I don't think you'll ******** up, hun. You seem sweet and smart enough that you won't. And besides, since you -are- so worried about ******** it up, chances are you won't, because you'll be conscious of what you're doing.
