My dad saw a picture on photobucket and said
"Hey...that kinda looks like Dib...."
Me:
"..."
"It is"
"The other one is Dib"
My dad:
"But...they're making out!!"
Me:
"yeah. It's called ZADR"
My dad:
"..."
Yeah....I don't think he likes ZADR...I think he's scared xD

Haha, at least your parents even know who they are.
Whenever I watch IZ, my mom (Who is so old-skool it hurts) gets all confused. I laugh histerically throughout the entire show because I know what happens next, and I laugh at the funny parts before they even happen (Which confuses her even more).
Me: *Laughs hysterically*
Her: "What's so funny?"
Me: "It's Invader Zim; Need I say more?"
Her: *Scoffs and leaves the room*
It's a good thing my mom knows next to nothing of computers (Other than to run DNA sequences and such from her PCRs) otherwise I'm sure she'd have a heart attack at the stuff I look at! haha!

My mom dissaproves, but it's so funny to watch her reactions sometimes.
But my dad...omg I only show him the ZADR stuff that is SO SUTBTLE THAT HE WON'T CATCH ON.
Otherwise I don't know what would happen. D:
It's funny to show the kids at school though, 'cause they're all like, "Who's the green one and why does she have green skin?"
I laugh SO FRIGGEN HARD everytime someone asks me that. I just say, "Well..*snickersnicker* she has a skin condition." Most kids don't remember Invader Zim. xDD

Heh.
All my friends are huge IZ fanatics. I'm the most obsessed, of course. Damn OCD traits... We always get into huge quote-wars, and I can't go a day without quoting an episode or a ZADR fanfic. I can rattle off GIR quotes like my native-tongue, even down to the episode the quote is from. It fills my brainmeats and consumes all like a horrible brain eating consumer-thing!
Then we have Invader Zim Nights, where we all gather and watch the DeeVeeDees almost ritualistically. Is gewd.
But when I try to show them ZADR...They look at me like I've sprouted 5 heads with tentacles to match. Their inferior brainmeats just can not comprehend the goodness that is ZADR!

I think it's funny when people thinkks Zim is a girl. Sometimes for some when I show my Dib drawing they think his a girl. Some people always say, I like how 'she' looks. And I'm like -_-;;

And I'm like -_-;; Well, I guess that's kinda understandable...I mean, Zim's an alien, so his gender can be easily mistaken, especially depending on how he's drawn. And Dib...I've seen a lot of fanart where he looks extremely feminine. It's still pretty of course, but to people who don't like ZaDr, or have never even heard of Invader Zim...well, I can understand thier confusion.

the few times i do show my friends yaoi or zadr, they give me the five-head-tentacle look. they often do that with anime in general, 'cause i'm the only otaku/iz fan. it's sad, but that's why i spend so much time on gaia ^^ i just don't bother, unless i find a superbly adorable picture to use for my desktop. then comes the look and the "okaaaaay..." xd

I was in Dad's car coming home from camp
& I talk about my Youtube channel.
My Dad says "I saw that one video..with 7,000+ views."
That was my ZADR AMV.
I was like "WHAT?! redface "
"It was actually kinda funny..but I haven't found that gay one yet."
"Dad, that was my gay one. sweatdrop "
"Huh?"
So, I explained him the whole Yaoi thing.
& how I was into ZADR.
At first he's like "Ew."
& then Dad says "It's perfectly fine."
My Dad rocks. blaugh

I remember when my dad went through his cookies. It was so funny. We were in Hot Topic when he thought it was a good time to approach the subject.
Him:So I was looking through the cookies on my computer this morning.
(I didn't know wtf cookies were)
Me: Okaaay...
Him:I'd rather you not read about Zim and Dib having sex on my computer.
