Nina stood silently, watching the other female leave her behind. This was good... now she didn't have to waste her time just standing around talking and go home for the evening. After all... the night was still quite young, and if she were lucky, all the block headed drunks had scrambled to the closest bar and left the sidewalks bare of their filthy mouths and perverted minds. With two fingers, Nina gently nudged a strand of 'grass' from her eyes and squeezed into the tight confined space of dancers until she reached the opposite wall where a private office sat nuzzled peacefully into the wall. That was probably the only place she could find that would have some solitude, but she wasn't going to lounge around in there. This office held her purse, coat and house keys. All three things were vital before she even attempted to leave this place.
Mori; along with have giving her a pass stating she was there as security; had given her the second set of keys to this office. Nothing special inside to really deserve its own set of keys; a simple obsolete PC, file cabinet, water dispenser and one lumpy computer chair. The door knob was becoming a pain each time she unlocked it. Nina would have to hold the key in one hand; not to mention rather tightly; and with her other, twist the nob as hard as she could, hoping her wrist wouldn't break from the forced pressure, all the time pounding the side of her hip into the solid wood.
This particular time was no exception. Once the door gave way with a God-awful metallic screeching, Nina grunted in frustration. Now, her head was not only pounding, but she could also feel the forming of a bruise square on her right thigh.
Frowning lightly, Nina wasted no time in snatching up her leather, hip length coat and diving each arm into the cranberry red, silk lined sleeves. Soon after, her purse was taken hostage and the door to the office was being slammed and locked. Mori, Nina knew, would probably venture this way after the rave had ended.
The cool, night air hit her hard, instantaneously chilling her entire body. Nina shivered a few times, eyes flashing every which direction until she finally spotted her somewhat friend.
"Heading out for the evening?" Mori question. He now stood basically alone. All who had been waiting to get in were no inside, dancing the eve away. Nina felt a pang of guilt as she stared up at the six foot four man, his dark brown eyes glazed with exhaustion.
"Yeah.. Betty took my spot, I've heard." Nina wrapped the coat tighter around her body. It seemed like it was growing frightfully cold each second. Mori simply shrugged, waving Nina off on her way.
Turning on the heel of her boot, the green haired twenty-three year old was deciding whether or not she should just head straight home or trek to the local bar. That would be the most terrible idea if she were to agree with it. Her hazel eyes took another trip around her settings, suddenly spotting the one girl she had been talking to. Apparently she was trying to make an escape as well. This made Nina smile for some reason.
"I do hope you take care of yourself this evening. You do know some sick bastards roam the street out here." Nina spoke up, stepping beside Kim. She carefully dug through her studded handbag, searching for her pack of light smokes.
