Hatter sighed and sat down on the couch beside Lyra. Quin crawled up after her and sat beside his sister. "Raz is the wonder of the house isnt he." She rolled her eyes. Perhaps she wasnt the one to help Skye raise them. Raz seemed to be doing a perfectly fine job being they one they wanted and needed.
Fluffing Lyra's hair she looked at Rian. "So you are sticking with the boogie man theory. I supose sticking to one story is better than changing them"

Rian took the demon's seated position as a chance to crawl across the large couch (and across Lyra while he was at it) onto Hatter's lap. His wings fluttered once more as he smiled up to her, glad that she'd finally started to see things his way.
Remi reached up, gently running his fingers through Cali's hair. "Not really. He's just... The only one that they had for a while." He shrugged. "Cali gets more excited to see him than she does to see anyone else, even her mother."
"Nodah." She chirped at the mention of 'mother'. "Nodah An'taw." She leaned away from the angel, peering down at her brother who looked quite comfortable where he was.

Lyra squaked indignantly as she was crawled over and smacked Rian with the plushie as he crawled into Hatter's lap. He was in her place and he had crawled over her to get to it. "Bad!"
"Rian.." Hatter almost laughed as she saw Lyra smack him with the plushie. "You cant go crawling over people like that. It isnt nice." She ruffled his hair as Quin scooted over closer to her and peered at Rian.
She looked at at Cali and Remi. "Well he is technally the man of the house, as long as you dont count Keith. So it is expected that since he helps take care of them that they like him"

His eyes went wide as he was thwapped with the plushie. How. Dare. She. Emerald orbs flared with a dark fire and then... He stuck his tongue out at her. He was on Hatter's lap and she wasn't. So ha!
"Keith's taken over as 'man of the house'." He shook his head slowly. There were some responsabilities that should not be forced upon children and leading a household... Especially a household such as this one... Was not one for a child.
He looked down at Cali, nudging her gently. "Lunch time, kiddo?"

"Lunch? Food?" Hatter perked up. "Cupcakes?" That was a stretch. She knew Skye didnt keep alot of sweets around so her getting cupcakes, unless she made them, was probably not going to happen.
Quin leaned up and tugged on Hatters arm. Rian was in his spot on his mommy's lap and he didnt have any way to shove him off. That wasnt fair ws it?
Lyra stuck her own tongue out and clutched the plushie to her. "Bad!" She didnt like him. He was mean and crawled over her and was sitting in her mommy's lap.

"Lunch, food... Yes. Cupcakes?" His brow raised slightly. The demon knew as well as he did how unlikely that was. "Possibly. 'Vyn did visit a couple of days ago... He usually brings some sort of baked good with him and there's a chance that the older children haven't gotten to all of them yet.
"How about... I take these little ones into the kitchen and you go try to lure the dragon down from her lab? You'll probably have better luck at it than I will." He snorted softly as he stooped down to scoop Lyra up into his other arm to keep her from going after Rian again. "How's that sound to you, Princess?"
He grinned as Lyra was plucked from the couch, tempted to stick his tongue out at her once more... But her brother kept him from doing that. Quin was... Odd. Too quiet. "... 'Lo."

Hatter pryed Quin off her arm and scooted Rian off her lap so she could get up. "Up you go kiddo, cant get up with you on my legs." She laughed as Quin blinked at Rian.
"I supose i can go drag her down." She probably would have more luck than Remi since it was so rare for her to come over. She woudl fix that but still.
"'Unch!" For all her words Lyra had yet to get the hang of the word lunch. Something about l's at the front of works messed up her tongue. Setting her general on her head she smiled up at the angel.
Quin didnt have anything to hid behind now so he wiggled his fingers in greeting. Rian was the one that always crawled on his mommy when he was around so he couldnt be all that bad right?

"Lunch it is." He grinned as he headed out of the den, making his way for the kitchen. Once he settled Lyra and Cali on booster seats around the table he could go back and fetch Quin and Rian. "You two will be well-behaved young ladies, won't you?"
Of course they would be. He set them both down on the floor so that he could lift one at a time onto their chairs. "I know you like apples, Cali... What about you, Lyra?"
Back in the living room Rian sat on the couch beside Quin, having been shifted from his 'throne' so that the demon could leave him. Well... That was just fine, he supposed. Remi would be back to carry him off soon enough.

He wished that Hatter hadnt left him alone with the other buy. He was looking at him funny. Turning around and standing up on the cusion he looked around for the angel. He should have brought his catterpiller.
"Apples!" She liked them as long as they were the green variet. The red ones were too sweet for her. "Green." She was easy to pick up and move. her little frame was alot lighter than it should have been. There were perks to being a banshee besides a scream that could shatter glass

"Good, good. I'll cut up some apples and a bit of other fruit once I go fetch the boys." He nodded, flexing his shoulders before turning back towards the den.
His nose scrunched slightly as Quin looked away from him. Did he think he was better or something? He snorted softly as he carefully crawled down off of the couch. He didn't get very far before Remi scooped him up which started a whole new line of face-making. He had been trying to escape!
"Oh, no you don't..." The guardian chuckled as he walked back into the room, holding his other arm out to Quin.

Seated at the table Lyra smiled and looked at Cali. "tail.." her mommy had a tail. But the other girls was different from Hatters. She peered at it from under the arm of the lion plushie for a few minuets. She could ignore the idea of apples for the question of the tail.
In the living room Quin watched Rian try to escape and Remi's capture of him. He smiled and held up his arms as Remi came over to pick him up. Remi was nice like mommy, he would hold him and not expect him to say anything.

"Off we go, boys." He cast a gentle smile at Quin as he lifted the small boy into his arms. He didn't mind not talking... As a matter of fact, he'd prefer not talking himself more often.
Cali glanced down, eyeing her tail as it swished back and forth. Yes... She had a tail... But so did her mother. So did Aunt Hatter. She nodded, gently plucking her tail up in her fingers, showing it to Lyra. "No pull."

Lyra poked the tail for a bit before taking it in her hands. She didnt intend on pulling on it but wanted to look at it. "P'etty" She liked the colors. It wasnt like mommy's tail but it was like the pretty ladies tail.
Quin wrapped his arms around Remi's arm as he was scooped up. He looked at Rian again wondering if the other boy was still making the funny faces
