Eb Alto clarinet, and the bass flute. My favorite is contra bass sax, just because its almost 2ft taller than me and it's bell is 3X the size of my waist

The sopranissimo sax. It's an octave higher than the sopranino sax. XD

Cimbasso anyone? Essentially a cross between a tuba and a contrabass trombone and plays the same pitch as a contrabass. See one at your nearest Verdi opera or movie soundtrack recording (i.e. Gladiator). wink
I have messed with a flugelhorn... I like the fact that it's less screeching than a traditional trumpet when playing high but then it gets too stuffy almost mellophone sounding in middle and low range. I suppose that's the point though... sweatdrop

We have a flugelhorn, but noone is brave enough to play it cause its been around for like 3 band directors times... There was another instrument that looks like a trumpet, but has way more valves... I can't remember what its called though...

You're probably thinking about a piccolo trumpet. It has 4 valves.

The contrabass flute - 2 octaves below c flute - and double contrabass flute - 3 octaves below c flute. They're used for big, professional flute choirs and I would LOVE to get my hands on one. mrgreen
Left is doublecontrabass, right is contrabass.
