This year for our musical we're doing The Sound of Music!
(As my choral director says- "This year, we get to be Nazis and Nuns. Take your pick!)
I wanna be Maria! 3nodding

Yeah, but you get a whole new appreciation for it after knowing the story behind it and then actually GOING to where it all took place.

Hmm I think I would like to be Rolf. The only other person I would be ther right age for is Friedrich and I dont like his character. Kurt isnt bad but I am too old for him. I have a friend two years younger than me who plyed Kurt in a community theatre production of SoM. he was really good.

Back when I was in Band, our Drum Major Jason made a joke about that XD He said, "The hills are alive... So you better start running." XD

-Tryouts were about 2 weeks ago. The results?
I'm in the nun's chorus with 23 other people, 10 of which can't sing.
Oh well, I'm just a freshman. Maybe I'll get a better part next year (Hopefully!)

I got to see TSoM live in a dinner playhouse in Indiana. It was wonderful. The actors were all very tallented both in acting and singing... I loved it, and the story was great. Wanna see the movie now. That was my freshman year, I'm a Senior now.
