He probably should have been keeping a low profile. Probably was the key word, however. And at the moment, that word was the only thing standing in the way of his fun. But it wasn't like a word had ever managed to stop him before, so why ruin a good thing now, of all times? Daniel was content on the beach. It felt great to be under the boiling sun, his sweat and the salt water mixing to soak his entire body. He always had a good time on the beach -the sand and the surf were always great. If anyone recognized him from the incident with the two water Evos, then they obviously weren't going to start screaming. No, they'd probably be too scared. The wimps. Anyway, most of the beach's denizens this time of year were tourists. They were in town for maybe a few weeks, tops, and they definitely hadn't been around long enough to recognize him.
No, it was a nice day, and he meant to enjoy it. He shoved his board stiffly into the sand before collapsing onto the ground himself. The tiny grains of sand clung to his wet shorts, but after another charge to the ocean, they'd be gone. No worries. Such a nice day, too. Had there been a little less people, he might have been tempted to cause some mayhem here and there just to have some fun. But this was too good to pass up. He would rest only for a few minutes, he told himself. Then it was back to the waves again so that he'd actually get enough excitement for the day. He had a few hours before he had to do anything, and fun was the best way to procrastinate.
((And that title is totally lame. XD Any ideas for a better one?))
