On almost any fret strings 5 and 6 make this ringing that gives it this middle eastern sound.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and how I can correct it?

That sounds kinda cool actually...Anyways, maybe you just need to adjust your action.

if you're confortable with the height of the bridge (action) then just adjust the neck, if not adjust that too. wink and that sound you explain is almost useless, even though it sounds, "Cool."

Action is what I thought too. But the ringing won't stop until the 13th fret.

then you might have to adjust the truss rod
