It's been 10 years.

The breakup scene was just as bad as the process of moving on.

.Sophomore Year.
"You ******** b*****d!"
"Look who's talking slut!" he slurred.

Then, it happened. The accident.
I was left with the scar.

"Go to hell, you b***h!"
He slapped me in the face.
My face hit the cold cement. Glass shards from his a broken beer bottle scared me for life.
I cried. Pathetic.
Raindrops fell from the sky. I wondered if he knew.
I heard his footsteps leave me.
I never told him. That I loved him.
What would it matter anyways?
He was drunk.

.Graduation Day.
I was laughing with my sisters, Pauline and Samantha, and Gerard.
"You have to call me!" said Gerard.
"And write to me more!"said Pauline.
"And take care or that puppy I just gave you!"said Sammy.
"OKAY!" I said laughing at all their demands.
But all of it stopped. Something caught my eye.

Mikey.

Gerard saw this and tapped my shoulder.
"Hey Lynnae...you okay?"
"Um..yeah.." I said trying to stop the tear from falling down.
"Well I gotta go, so bye guys!"

.2 years later.
"I shall kill you with my cookies!" said shouted Frank.
"Never! Princess and I shall defeat you with cupcakes!" retorted Bob.
Gerard walked in saying," Now,now kids. Unless you want to pay for the future damage of this bus, I suggest you should eat your weapons."
We waited in silence until he went to his bunk.
Bursts of laughter.
"Princess...do you really have to leave today?"
"Yes I have to...my vacation ends today idiot!"
"Alright,alright."

.Airport.
"Bye Princess!" said Frank and Bob simultaneously.
"Bye Lynnae." said Ray.
"Yuppers...this is it. So bye!" said Gerard, before they all gave me a death hug.
I saw Mikey standing in the corner.
"Uh...I'll be back mmkay?"
"Okay" said Ray. "We'll be going to the food court now." he said with a grin.

"Mikey?"
He grunted.
"Uh...I know this awkward and all...but...sorry."

"Flight 421 will now is now boarding."

"Well that's my que. Bye then."
He merely looked at me, and walked pass me.

I stood there frozen.

.High School Reunion.
Well here we are. The beginning of the story.

The only one I know here is Gerard and Mikey.
I told Gerard to have some fun after I saw him glancing at this girl. Many times.

Mikey is with his wife Alicia.
Not once did he even dare to look at me.

So I walk outside where my feet lead me to a park.
I take my shoes off and sit on the swings for ten minutes.
I get off and walk home.

The only thing on my mind is Mikey.
I wondered what would have happened if I told him.
It wouldn't have mattered.
As long as he knows I love him.

I'm Lynnae Spinnett.
I'm 27 years old.
I'm going to die in 5 months due to cancer

was mikey the one that hurt her? why? thats out of charracter (sp?) usaully hes the shy nervous one haha

What did that chick do to Mikey to get him so mad?
And Mikey would never do that to anyone by the way.
