Sooo, what do you think of it?? (I'm sorry if I mis-spelt a couple of words...) Do you think it works??

I got it a while ago and I started using it and at first it didn't really work, it didn't make it worse or anything just didn't start working after about a week of using it. So after about a week, I forgot to use it. Then, about a month later, I started using it again. And it worked really well. I used it every day and when I was about half out, it started to sting, really badly. My mom told me to stop using it but since I was in the habit of using it everyday, the next day I put it on again and it stung, really bad. then I had to wash it off really well and my face felt really horrible, really rough and bad. I used over 3 mosturizers to make my face feel smooth again.

My dad bought me this bar of really expensive soap called "PanOxyl" it's supossed to "Clean existing acne blemishes" and "Prevent new blemishes from forming" and I guess it works a lot!! My face has a lot less blemishes!! I say it's better than Proactive.

What acne washes do you girls use?? Do they work well??

ProActive never worked on me.
Uhhhh, I use Accutane (strong doesses) for my acne. Till I got off of it and acne came back after 3-4 month.
I am currently using Diane-35 and some strong cream to dry up my face now. Seems to be working but it makes me sick.

I use "AcneFree". It's great. It works over night. And everything is, like, gone. I think my mom got it from Wal-Mart. So... Yeah!

I never tried ProActive. Too expensive.

Yeah, my dad was really mad when I told him that I couldn't use it anymore, he spent a whole bunch of money and stuff.

I'll see if I can get my dad to buy "AcneFree" when I run out of "PanOxyl".

Proactive is what my brother always used but it never worked for me. It's supposed to be the best, but, like you said, it just makes my face sting really bad. Also it makes my hair all nasty.
I've heard about that PanOxyl stuff and that's what I've been meaning to try next. Like looks real good! It looks like it works on your back and chest, too, and I have serious problems with that as well.

I've never had a problem with acne, actually. I mean, I get the occasional pimple on my chin maybe once a month, but it usually disappears within a week. So, I guess I can't really offer any help in that department. My brother had really bad acne when he was a teenager, and he tried a lot of medications that didn't work. I'm not sure what he used, but it worked very well - so I guess my advice is to keep trying, even if it seems hopeless, because there is a medication out there that will help you get rid of it - or at the very least, make it much less noticeable!

Well, I used to have horrible acne, but I got on birth control forcibly from my mom in high school, and it cleared up most of my acne.

Mostly before and during my period I get the worst of the acne =o= But that only happens once a month, and I don't worry about it.

I've seen the Proactive stuff all around, and I do question if it works or not. I don't really think it works :/ I think that anything endorsed by Jessica Simpson is a bad investment XD!
