The M marked corpse colored little male walked slowly through the trees. This was his first actual outing from his father and his extended family, the only noise that was a constant around the little male's ears was that of wings flapping.
Looking up Mahli glared at the green bird above him. "I thought I said to stay away," he growled."Mahli, you have no idea where you're going, and no idea of how to get back. So if anything, I can fly a head of you and keep a look out." the bright crow stuck out its tongue as it swoped down to land on a branch before the pup.
"So where are you going any ways, You father's cousin wont be happy to see that you have wandered off." Bertok was speaking about Gracia the one that kept an eye on the pups in the small pack.Rolling his white eyes the pup shrugged, "I don't know, isn't that the point of taking a walk feather brains?!?" this little one had a mix of his parents attitudes, but his fuse was of his mother's not his father's.

(tell me if this is too bright for you to read and I will gladly change colors :3)
Trot trot trot! It was fun to be out here! A small pinkish figure was moving through the woods at a bouncy gait, tossing her head back and forth. Her tail was high and thrashing about her rump furiously. She was so happy to be out and about by herself! This was her first time, afterall! A cricket hopped before her on the leafy path, and she halted. She watched it for a moment, head cocked to the side and ears shoved forward to full attention. It chirped, and she yipped. Startled by the magnitude of the noise, the creature hopped off. "Bye bye bug!" She called after it, then continued onward. She didn't know what she'd find today, but if it was anything like the cricket, it would be full of fun!

With a cackle of cawing laughter the big crow took to circling above the little pup. Bertok had excellent eyesight and having a gray pup with a bright blue ribbon marking to follow was just easy.
"So are you just playing around today?"
Curling up his lips to give a puppy snarl, the familiar kept asking and asking questions as if he was going to report back to his father, uncle, or cousins.
"I'm just walking, whatever happens on a walk is just the way things go!" the little male snapped starting to walk forward again. "Don't you just ever take flights?" the last word he was hopping Bertok would take the hint. However, Mahli wasn't hopeful with being alone.
Instead of bickering with the pup, something bright pink in hue moved before them. What is that? Bertok thought, for once not speaking his mind.
"Mahli stay there. I just caught sight of something." The big bird commanded as she swooped down above the bouncy pink creature.
"What?" the gray head tilted, but like anything else, stay there meant follow to him. So the pup took off after his bright friend and before he knew it, he had almost ran into another pup.
Slidding to a stop, but not very well, since he stumbled over his oversized paws and landed in the vast dead leaves that skirted all the trees above them.

Two keen little ears picked up on the voices travelling on the breeze, and curiosity made her eyes grow wide. A flapping was occurring above her, and soon she looked up to see a bird circling nearby. He seemed to be alerting someone below of her presence. However, before she could ponder this any further, a blur of grey and blue went by her, crashing into the dead foliage nearby. Her eyes followed the trainwreck in motion, her paws halting much more cleanly and in less space. She had dainty paws for her age, unlike the male.
She turned, took one good look at him, and burst into a giggle, ignoring the curious flying creature altogether. "That looked like it was fun!" she squeaked, hurrying over to him and getting almost nose to nose with him, to spite that he may or may not have had time to straighten himself out. She didn't care either way. "What kind of game is it?"

Perching on a branch above and shaking his feathered head from side to side, Bertok couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Mahli.
"I told you to stay still," he laughed and knew that over the femme's voice he wouldn't be heard. Or maybe wit the dead undergrowth in the little male's ears, either way Bertok was happy in his tree away from the little fangs that liked to pluck his feathers out.
Shaking his head from side to side, the first thing that Mahli was trying to do was shaking the leaves and various vegistation off of his pelt. Then blinking his eyes open, he was staring at an ultra-bright wolf. So bright that the colors almost hurt his eyes, then again she was about as bright as his uncle.
Hold on, she just had said something. "Huh?"
"Game, Mahli. What type of game were you playing slidding into the dead undergrowth. After all the snow will be much more fun when it comes most likely," Bertok tilted his head up to look at the sky above, "tonight or tomorrow."
"Game?!? That was a bad sto..Game..." The gray and blue pup looked towards the big crow and then back to the pup. "Slidding into a pile of leaves..the game is to..."
"Stop before slidding out of the leaves, or see who can hide the most in a slide in position." Bertok assited from his perch.
