Our band doesn't do that, but we did have one band that came to our school to warm-up before a comp. That did something similar. Except there's was some electronica-type music, like techno or something.

We have a full body warm-up that we call the 'Hindu Posture Excersise'. Our Band Captain makes us relax each part of our body by calling out the body part and we end up hanging from our waists up, looking like rag dolls. Then we come up backwards, lower back, upper back, shoulders, neck, head, and finally we stand on out tip-toes in an extreme form of attention.

wow. that looked more like a dance recital then a warm-up...My band doesn't do that...but they do have these breathing exercises...the first time we did them nobody could do it right because we looked so silly doing them, none of us could stop laughing.

That's funny, lol. Our band really does waist circles, the funny thing is when we get to the back part of the waist the whole band makes orgaism noises or we yell out a name of our firneds in a sexy way. I've had my name called out before and it's funny/embarassing. XD

Our band does some ballet and pilates moves after taking x amount of laps and stretching. Our marching instructor was determined to improve everyone's balance.
