Has anyone here ever played Bernstein's Symphony No. 2 Jeremiah second movement? It's making my want to cry: there's a high E above the treble clef staff!!!

Bernstein is crazy. Always remember that.
(but isn't crazy oftentimes overlapped with genius?)
*cough* anyways...
I haven't played that one. Fancy that. Beautiful music, nonetheless. About that viola part, well, there's a glimpse of the world of the violin.

Javinus Heh, I had to minor in viola. I admit, I like playing viola much more for leisure than the violin, which is my primary instrument. The sound is much more mellow and soothing, but it's harder to get in tune, especially if I just got done practicing violin. I can't resist myself... Q: What is the difference between a viola and a violin? A: There is none. The violinist's head is just bigger. Aaaahaha! That joke made me laugh hard. I told it to my dad and he laughed, too. My brother plays the Violin, and he's like "Hey, that's not nice." I'm like, "And?" ^_^

Viola takes extra talent to play because you have to learn to read a rarely used Clef and use it all the time

Its an optical illusion- it's because the volist's head is small. viola jokes should die. stressed talk2hand

But Violin ones do! ^_^ I hate it when people say that my Viola is just a big Violin. Violins aren't as low, they aren't as big, and they're not as COOL. ^_^
