So. For those who are Twilight Fans:
Robert Pattison (Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films) has been cast as Edward Cullen in the movie.
Kristen Stewart (not sure what she's from) has been cast as Bella.
What're you're opinions on these castings?
If you could chose, who would you cast?
Who would you cast as some of the other characters? (I'll put their real actors when it's released.

Although the book says Edward has brownish hair I desperately want him to have black hair & as I read the series I imagined him with black hair. So it should be black. That's all I've got to say about that. The girl is beautiful but she looks very seductive. Maybe it's just the picture? I would of picked a more innocent looking woman for the character.
I'm worried that the movie is going to suck... it's such an amazing book I don't want it to be ruined for the masses. gonk
On a side note, despite the hair discoloration, Pattison would make a very sexy edward.

I know a lot of people are upset with Pattison but I figure it could've been worse.
My personal fave for Edward was Gaspard Ulliel. He's a french actor/model. He came out in Hannibal Rising. he's a really good actor and he can hide his accent well.
As for Bella. I've never seen this girl act so I can't really complain. I pictured she'd look young for her age and more innocent.
Oh well, at least she's not blonde.

what's that supposed to mean?!?!?!?!?!?! haha. *pouts*. But yes I agree, I pictured her looking younger as well, at least for the first movie. Who were the other options for our lovely Edward?

xd Well Bella is definitely the opposite of a blonde. (No offense dearie).
I'm not sure who the options were for Edward. Stephenie Meyer didn't really get say in the casting. Her only requirement was that Edward was under 21. (WHICH IS WHY GASPARD WASN'T CONSIDERED. HE'S 24. crying )
God He's so gorgeous though. And he was the fan favorite for the role.
I know Stephenie wanted Henry Cavil (Who is also over 21 now) and Tom Suttridge. (I would've been ok with Tom I supposed).
I'm really wondering who they're planning for Alice, Jasper and Jacob.

OOOOOOO Cedric was a babe. Bella should look more innocent. I agree. I always pictured her having dirty blonde hair (more brown than blonde). It would of been cool if they got the Emma girl that played Hermione to be her. She was so pretty!

i love twilight, the "edward" looks kind of fruity. "bella"'s beautiful but looks kind of naughty?

I think the guy that played Cedric will do a nice job. I agree about the bella part though. She is gorgeous but she looks very seductive for an innocent teenager.
