Don't you have to show the recipt? And the recipt would have that you used a gift card.

Don't you have to show the recipt? And the recipt would have that you used a gift card.

Oh no no no, ya see you can go to customer service and say you got something as a gift yet the person who gave it to you didn't supply a gift reciept.

You can do it with Best Buy too, but under the conditions:
-must provide a driver's liceance (they keep you on records because you can only do this once)
-must be under a certain amount (varies by store)
-money is refunded store credit only

Heh, that's the one thing I'll always admire about the retail employee. They always find loopholes in company policy and are unattached enough to their company that they use them or spread the knowledge around whenever they see fit.

Whaddya mean? If say for instance you got a $50+ game for free from somewhere and you don't want it, you can abuse this ability 3nodding Buy what you want biggrin

I'd rather see it as a advantage rather than abuse of a company. I do love Best Buy, they've done a lot for me. I'm not staying there forever though xp

Besides, we all had it where we got a game that we definately didn't want xd I know the feeling.
