It was a cold night.
That was all the haggard female allowed herself to think about as she trudged through the blindingly frozen winds, mismatched cerulean and silver eyes squinted against the onslaught of falling snow. A slight shiver shook her steady frame as she paused in the knee-deep white powder, heaving a long-suffering sigh before continuing on her way. A slight limp hindered her walk, but she steadfastly ignored the twinge it pulled on her injuries.
Rina was in a foul mood, as was always prone to happen... especially in weather like this. What was there to be cheery about in this season? Really... she failed to understand the upbeat attitude of the few stragglers she'd run across recently. Cold was bad. Winter was cold. End of story. Her mood wasn't much better in the summer, but that was beside the point. Shaking her head to clear her erroneous thoughts, the she-wolf paused and eyed the forest she was about to enter. Didn't make much of a difference if it was dangerous or not, she supposed... she'd freeze to death out in the open like this.
Steeling her resolve, she pushed forward into the slight cover of the dead forest.
