Heh. As of late (more like over the weekend), I've made major progress with my Warrior with the aid of my ls in equipment and in gil. Over the weekend, we have gotten my Eldieme Necropolis coffer key on Friday night and getting the coffer popped and DS killed in the same day, yesterday, along with getting my CN coffer key and coffer on Saturday by luck with me getting the first key and finding the coffer on the way out to get a fly for a RDM in the group that needed his chest key, also getting the key off of the fly.
Then with my Fighter's Mufflers in my hands, we did a bcnm40 last night and gotten two Erase, making it 100k for each person so far, making my finacial problem not much of a problem for now, allowing me to finish Gobbiebag V while waiting for prices on Gobbiebag VI items to go down and more affordable.
Then there's the fact that I was able to get my 55 cap done at 52 with the group okay with it, making it where I'm set for 8 more lvls on my WAR.
Now the real problem at hand, getting into a pt that lasts long enough without getting me killed to get me out of WAR52/THF26, the lvl I've been for the past 2-3 weeks >< My mufflers and mask are calling out to me T.T ...Well...Not the mask much since my Valkyrie's Mask from a fellow ls member gave it to me as a early Christmas present before moving out to fight.
And then my WAR's career is really set with my brother CPing me a RK Chainmail once I'm 54 or 55 since I'm not rank 6 yet but I've also helped my gil issue with my CP, using it on RK Mufflers which sell for nearly 80k last I checked, getting me closer to the RK Chainmail before my brother told me he could get it for me.
And to think I was depressed over the weekend and question my job as a Warrior...Such a event like this happening to me has really done its job of making me happy.
And now, I'm done with my rant so thanks for taking the time to read all of this sweatdrop Sorry it couldn't have been something more...productive.

Sounds like you have a very nice LS there biggrin
I bet you just have bad luck with parties, you sound alot like the poor pld in my LS, he always get the odd parties that never works out etc. etc.
I admire you though, I admire everyone that get as far as they have with their "odd" jobs. By that I mean, war, mnk, drg...those jobs that ppl tend to avoid for parties but at the same time fail to see their potential. War is a great back up tank and very good DD, you hang in there, I hear many Wars have a hard time in their early 50s but it gets better later when they get new WSs that SC better with other jobs and so on.

My war is just 34 and I lvl it as one of my sub jobs but I must say Im liking it alot!

Well, what really gave me a crappy weekend was the fact that some people were picking on me and getting on my nerves on Thursday but I was given enough words of confidence from my ls...And actually, yesterday really made my day. In the bcnm, it was me as WAR/THF, my bro as WHM/SMN, a BRD/WHM, a DRG/WAR, a DRK/WAR (ls leader), and a RDM/WHM, which left me with the fun job of tanking. It was me tanking during this that made me realize how well I can really tank after not tanking in a long time in a exp pt.
And for the hard time, you've got no idea how bad it is with some people still blind and picky over subs, not realizing the potential of switching from one role to the next. I was actually happy once when a Taru PLD invited me into a pt because he has heard of SA+Sturmwind being godly, which I gladly did for him, granting his wish with a nice ~560 dmg on a IT Helm Beetle in Quicksand Caves.
I believe it's most or half of the PLDs on Kujata can truely appreciate WAR since we are, after all, the main reason why they exsist and can become a tank because without WAR subbed, then it'll be a hard time pulling the hate first without voke.

Hey, I'm a WAR too... and I love it. I'm still level 21, and stuck in Qufim. I haven't gotten an invite in a while either... I don't get invites because I don't have NIN subbed. Don't these people think...?
"Hrm. Level 21 War/Mnk. Shall we get him?"
"Naw! He doesn't have Ninja subbed. Even though he can't get Ninja until level 30... let's not invite him. He'll be a sucky tank and a sucky DD."

Actually, from what I've heard, a Warrior doesn't normally sub Ninja till Warrior 50 because of Ninja 25 and Dual Wield II, lowering the total delay but then, I think it's just the timing for you, Soku. Try working on other sub jobs if you can or maybe also put something in your search comment.
For some reason, I think when I subbed Thief while in Qufim, I think it appealed to some people because of Gilfinder and wanting to try and take Gigas for the extra gil while lvling.
WAR/MNK is actually one of the good combos pre-50 where your choices can really vary. I'm actually stuck farming if I can to help get stuff for NIN before I lvl it from 13 unless I get a invite as my WAR/THF. All of my early-lvl Ninjitsu is all ready...Except for the lvl 15 ones which I can buy easily when I get the chance to pay a visit to Jeuno's Tenshodo HQ.

actually if you have nin in any combination with war you'll get invited first...least it seems that way on my server. Ive often not gotten a invite because i told them i hadnt even unlocked it yet. its nin sub this nin sub that blah blah it pisses me off. I prefur mnk...i love it as my sub specially sense it works so well with my g. axe. my war is 40 an my mnk is 20, im great as a tank (sometimes) and a excellent DD basically cause if i dont have to tank i can spam warcry, beserk, dodge, and once warcy wears off spam boost.my server just seems to be on a nin trend i suppose, i prefur not to be appart of it...just play what i enjoy. sweatdrop

Heh. Got my hands on a English Model Viewer and got a combo that'll please me as a Warrior. The Ascalon, a G.Sword that a Warrior can use, was my true goal because of the shape and look which isn't the normal one for G.Swords a Warrior can use. I don't intend on using it for EXPing unless it's against a dragon and near the end of the fight. The Thick armor also seems to have appealed to me more when I get to the level. The Kingdom Aketon was the reason why I actually decided to try and work with the Thick Armor if I ever get my hands on it. I hope to see WAR70 sometime to be able to get the equipment that has become my dream now.
One of these days I'm gonna have to make a name for myself on Kujata along with showing all of these narrow-minded people what another sub besides Ninja can do. Then we'll see how many people will think highly of Ninja again.
