Valentine's Day was just around the corner and the people of Konoha were getting all excited for this day.All except Iruka.The poor guy has been high strung since he decided that, Valentine's day would be the day he'd tell Kakashi about how he really feels.At first he'd swore that he'd go right up to Kakashi, and say."I love you."But as time went on, he thought about it more; and that idea slowly changed.It's been a full year since his decision.So he made a promise to himself, that if he didn't tell Kakashi on this day, he'd never do it and forever live with a secret love.'Only three more days.'Iruka thought to himself, as he was waking up.He turned his head, and saw the gift he was going to give to Kakashi.The gift was a simple silver chain, and Iruka hoped that he'd like it.'He won't like it, I just know it.'He thought again.Poor Iruka was now second guessing himself.Sighing he got up, and began to get ready for the day.He spent most of his time worrying about Kakashi, that he nearly forgot about his students at the Ninja Academy, and he went home early everyday because the others were so worried.Iruka went home, and sat outside hoping some fresh air would clear his thoughts."It's has to be in three days it just has to!"He said out loud.
Three days later
Iruka woke up that morning in a cold sweat, knowing that today was the day."I'll tell him I'll tell him I'll tell him."He said to himself.Putting on his uniform.The nervous Iruka walked to Kakashi's apartment.As he walked up to the door, he whispered.'Gotta tell him.'Over and over.Then reaching up he knocked on the door.His heart raced as the time became longer and longer.Then after five minutes-which felt like forever-someone answered the door.Kakashi stood there only half dressed, and looking like he just woke up."Hello Iruka."He said.Blushing he began in a shaky voice."Ka-ka-shi I wa-wanna tell you that, that..."But he couldn't find the courage to do it.Throwing the small dark green box on the ground he ran off."IRUKA!WHAT'S WRONG!"Kakashi called back.Sighing, he picked up the mall box and looked at it.'I wonder...'He thought, then he ran after Iruka.
Meanwhile...
Iruka was sitting on his roof top crying."That's it!"He sobbed."I finished I can't even tell the person I love who I feel."Then calming down a bit he said."Well...at...least...eh...he still has the gift."Then Kakashi can up to Iruka and said."So this gift was for me?"
Iruka nodded."So why did you run off like that?"
"Be...because I could tell you tha-that I-"But Iruka got cut of by something warm.That something was Kakashi.After the moment Iruka asked."So you felt the same way about me?"Kakashi nodded."Happy Valentine's Day Iruka."Kakashi whispered, then he kissed Iruka again.'Happy Valentine's Day to you to Kakashi.'Iruka thought.
