As I continue to argue through gaia the rights of freedom...I see more and more the ideas of statism running rampant. majority of kids and adults believe in this idealogy. That the government is all-knowing and is there to protect you. Oh man, I hope somehow, the theory becomes true and we all start to become poorer and poorer. But of course, the people will want to falsely blame it on capitalism. capitalism got the US to where it is today.

OF course people will blame it on Capitalism but thats what it is and while the people become poorer and poorer what happens? The classes divide untill what happens? Oops two classes? Then what? Its as ive been saying Xevec, Socialism is only State Capitalism and capitalism will always go down to these two classes.

what's so wrong with class division again? seems to me that some people certainly deserve to be on the bottom end of the economic spectrum. if you make D's in junior high, then drop out at 9th grade, chances are you won't be getting a Harley like Billy did who made through med school without passing out on the desk every five minutes. classes divide when the government leaves them alone because not everyone's so equally capable of doing more than toiling at Taco Bell for the rest of his life.

Ok seriously, this is pissing me off. I am fighting a losing battle in my thread "myth: captialism causes monopolies and capitalism in general"

Because I am promoting self-interest....people see me as a terrible person. There is widespread disinformation saying that capitalism causes poverty.....and captialism has monopolies, and captialism causes destruction of a society. Seriously, I believe these people should experience socialism themselves by going out to europe. After a few years there...I would like to see how they like it.

I would most likely or not love it in Europe. Seeing as I can pull at my cell phone and call anywhere in Europe and get a clear signal. Also, Some countries may pay higher taxes but there are many benifits and sure there are losses. I personally see State Capitalism though as a final attempt to save Capitalism, because in my opinion Free open market Capitalism wouldnt have survived the Depression without it.

Before you say anything about how the "free market" would have picked up on its own, just realize that if the depression in the United States lasted longer, CPUSA, and the National Socialist parties would have gained a substantial amount of support. Those two parties were the highest growning parties during the depression.

yes, they were. Because people believe in crazy things in desperate times. But you must remember....hoover made things worse by implementing things that roosevelt enhanced during his presidency. Harding did nothing and the economy prospered. Hoover did something and the economy worsened.

However, when you got grades from a few C's to mostly B's and an A here and there and you dropped out of college because of September 11 making your school a warzone and you finally got diagnosed around your 21st to being autistic, where would you land then?
Me? I'm sitting at home.. without a job.. for the last 3 years.. because none of these damn companies want to hire me for various reasons. Some of which are linked (in)directly to me being autistic.

I'm at the bottom end of the economic spectrum. One step lower and I'd be no better off than the people in Congo who are starving by the millions. Apart, perhaps, that I live in a somewhat milder climate than them.

I'm not at all sure what would be the best for a government. Republic, Democracy, Communistic or whatnot doesn't interest me in the slightest. As long as I get to keep the friends I have and share some good times with them, money, too, isn't even that much of an issue.

Why do I post here? I don't know. It's freaking 9:36am and I've been up since yesterday. But I needed to post here for some reason I cannot fathom right now, so I did. If I offend anyone, I'm sorry, if I didn't I'm a happy girl.

I bet if we could magically redistribute all the wealth in the United States so that everyone had the same amount of assets in about ten years most of the people who were rich would be rich again and most of the people who were poor would be poor again. To be sure exceptions would abound and many wouldn't squander such an opportunity but in general we would see that the rich would do what made them rich to regain wealth and the poor would do what made them poor to lose it.
