So today I got my Drapion to level 100. Now I need to either work on getting the right Charizard or...huh? Wait a second, I don't know what my 6th and final Pokemon will be! gonk
My team consists of dual types, and I don't want repeat types either. Currently I have...
Grass/Ground Water/Dragon Poison/Dark Fighting/Steel Fire/Flying (don't have it yet, but I will eventually)
My question is this: What Pokemon are left that I could choose from? I lack...
Normal Ghost Bug Rock Electric Psychic Ice
List of available Pokemon: Giraffirig (Normal/Psychic) Rotom (Ghost/Electric) Armaldo (Rock/Bug) Shedinja (Ghost/Bug) Froslass (Ghost, Ice
There's probably more, but I don't know for sure sweatdrop If you guys could help me out I'd really appreciate it! 3nodding

The dude has something good with this team builder to get some balence within you team because you want to make sure your types are balenced.

And this video will show you how to use it. From Marriland himself

Normal - Blissey. Ghost - Dusknoir Bug - Scizor Rock - Rampardos/Bastiodon Electric - Electivire/Jolteon/Raichu Psychic - Alakazam/Gardevoir/Gallade
Why Blissey you ask? well you do need some sort of defensive Pokemon for your team. Blissey will be able to sponge Special attacks, and can survive non Fighting type physical attacks. It also has the ability Natural Cure, so it will become very annoying for your opponent. Use Blissey as a Cleric if you know what that is.
Dusknoir. Again, you need at least two defensive Pokemon on the team. Dusknoir has pretty good defense, and can also have a good special defense at the same time. Highly recommended. His move pool isn't too shabby either.
Why Scizor? even though it can die very easily to a fire attack it has a pretty good chance of being able to fight very well in a battle. Its steel type can protect it from many deadly attacks such as Rock Slide and Stone Edge. It has a very nice max attack in an attacking nature, and you can easily raise its speed with Agility. A very nice choice. Here are some Scizors I've created that can be used
Scizor@Liechi Berry Adamant Swarm EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Reversal Endure Agility Night Slash (takes care of Ghosts that Reversal can't hit)
Scizor@Liechi Berry Adamant Swarm EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed
Iron Head/Agility X-Scissor Night Slash Swords Dance
As for a Rampardos or Bastiodon. Rampardos if you want to sweep, and Bastiodon if you want another defensive Pokemon.
Electivire for his decent attack, and awesome ability Motor Drive. Jolteon for a Special Sweeping Speedster. Raichu would be a nice annoyer due to its nice move pool that revolve around annoying people.
Raichu
Sweet Kiss Thunder Wave Double Team Thunderbolt
This can become very annoying. After going through confusion it will have to go through Evasion and Paralysis.
Alakazam and Gardevoir for Special Sweeping, Gallade for Physical Sweeping. Those are my personal opinions.

Most dual type pokemon have very little weaknesses. My personall opinion would be to go with either Froslass or Giraffrig. Either one couldn't do you wrong. They both have a common weakness though. A good Dark type would be hard for either. Um..ya either one of those should do.

Shedinja is also a decent pick. With wonder guard, he's hard to hit, and annoying in link battles. Only real downside to him is that he's only got 1 hp, and a somewhat limited move pool sweatdrop
But if you're willing to repeat a dark type, then I'd go for either Sableye or Spiritomb. They're both Ghost/Dark types, which means no type weakness and no damage from normal, fighting, or psychic.
I agree with using dual types. The only thing you have to watch out for is double weaknesses; those can kill you easily. When using dual types, try covering up for their weaknesses by either having them learn or teach them moves that would have an advantage over a pokemon with a type advantage over yours. For example, if my Nidoking (ground/poison) is faced with, say, Lapras (water/ice) he would be at a major disadvantage because both water and ice beats ground, right? So I taught my nidoking flamethrower and thunderbolt to cover both those weaknesses.
I'm blabbering on and stuff, but i hope that helps sweatdrop
